Aimee is the 2nd official campaigner unveiled by Battlefront.
She wants to produce a new range of environmentally-friendly re-usable cups so that less cardboard and plastic cups are wasted.
"The UK generates over 3 million tons of plastic waste each year. Too many people take the idea that the damage we are doing to the world will not affect us. This is wrong, and we are swiftly destroying our planet and need to seriously change our ways"
Shes campaigning to get coffee chains to buy the cups to sell in their stores and lower the prices of drinks for people who bring their own mugs.
"It does come down to individuals and once one person does it, five people do it. I want to show that, despite the press perception of teenagers, we do care and want to make a positive difference to the world"

Aimee Beaver established Moonflower, a trade show inspired boutique, when she was 17 years of age. The boutique sells tie-dyed tee shirts, dresses, fabric handbags scarves, picture frames, paintings, folded tapestries, Shisha incense, candles, jewelry and lycra headbands, among other unique items.
From a young age, Aimee knew she wanted her professional work to be an extension of herself. After graduating high school, she followed the Grateful Dead band tour as a part of the merchandise-selling team, and soon began making jewelry and clothing to fit her style. At tour’s tour, Aimee opened Moonflower, only knowing what she wanted to sell, and the level of success she wanted her store to achieve. Moonflower prides itself on uniqueness, diversity, acceptance and sense of community. The merchandise comes primarily from fair trade companies.
Last year, Beaver’s store raised $2,000 in one day for relief efforts in Haiti through the American Red Cross. She is affiliated with the Chester Country Peace Movement, West Chester Business Improvement District, Earth First! Worldwide, Code Pink, Nature Conservancy, Surf-Riders Association, PETA, UNICEF, Amnesty International and Fair Trade Fashion Global.
