Tak and the Power of Juju review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Tak and the Power of Juju for the GameCube. Released in 2003, this game was developed by Avalanche Software and was published by THQ. Tak and the Power of Juju is an adventure-platformer, perhaps best known for being the inspiration for the television show of the same name. The game plays fairly well, using a comination of action and platforming and puzzle solving, but it doesn't take the risks necessary to make it stand out from similar games. This video review features video gameplay footage of Tak and the Power of Juju for the GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Gabe.

NCAA Football 13 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of NCAA Football 13 for the Playstation 3. Released last week, this game was developed by EA Tiburon and was published by Electronic Arts. Although there aren't any groundbreaking additions to this year's release of the long-running football series, improvements have been made to the gameplay, making this a much less frustrating NCAA experience. In addition, the "reaction time" mechanic adds some cinematic and intense moments to the gameplay. This video review features video gameplay footage of NCAA Football 13 for the Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Gabe.

Freaky Flyers review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Freaky Flyers for the Nintendo GameCube. Released in 2003, this game was developed and published by Midway. It's a kart racer with planes, and while the gameplay is very similar to Diddy Kong Racing, the game's tone and humor do help to make it worth trying out. However, the game probably would've benefited from being a different genre altogether, as it would allow people to see the unique humor instead of the less unique gameplay.. This video review features video gameplay footage of Freaky Flyers for the Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Gabe.

Medal of Honor: Airborne review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Medal of Honor: Airborne for the Xbox 360. Released in 2007, this game was developed by EA and Demiurge and published by Electronic Arts. It's a very unique take on the WW2 shooter, with a non-linear gameplay style allowing for a ton of replayability on each mission. Although the visuals could've been better, and there is occasional texture pop, there's no denying how much fun the game is. This video review features video gameplay footage of Medal of Honor: Airborne for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Gabe.

Toki review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Toki for NES. THIS MONKEY IS WEARING SHOES MY ARGUMENT IS INVALID But I reviewed the game anyway, because heck if I'm going to shovel all this monkey spit around and not actually do my job. So here's Toki, a game about a monkey spitting at things and platforming and trying to be human again. But he's already got the shoes DOWN. As evidinced by the pretty decent platforming action. Covered in monkey spit. And no, you can't have my chili recipe. This video review features video gameplay footage of Toki for NES and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Battlestations: Midway review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Battlestations: Midway for the Xbox 360. Released in 2007, this game was developed and published by Eidos. It's a mix of a few different gameplay styles, letting you fly planes, man submarines, attack with battleships, and speed around in PT boats as you fight on both the American and Japanese side of the fighting during World War 2. Although the frame-rate could've definitely been better, this is a great choice for fans of history who are willing to put a little time into getting the hang of the game. This video review features video gameplay footage of Battlestations: Midway for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Gabe.
