In 2004 there were only 3 challengers for the Championship of the Barony of Aneala (Perth, Western Australia). Despite the desire to win and though the field of fighters was small, all gave good measure and fought in friendship and honour. There were three lists held (sword & shield, great weapons and open weapons). Each bout was fought to the best of three blows - so that by the end of the Championship, each fighter had had around 25 to 30 fights. We had a great time and forged fast friendships. Conan o Cuan Mor (in the T-face barbute) became our next Champion.
