Gundam Battle Assault 2 review. Classic Game Room reviews GUNDAM BATTLE ASSAULT 2 for Sony PlayStation from Bandai released in 2002. CGR Gundam Battle Assault 2 video review features Gundam Battle Assault 2 gameplay recorded from PS3 (although this is an original Playstation 1 game disc). Gundam Battle Assault 2 (spelled Gundum Battle Assault 2 on the spine of the packaging) is an awesome PlayStation 1 fighting game where giant robots crush each other and machine gun their enemies with authority!
Bejeweled HD iPad review. Classic Game Room reviews BEJEWELED HD for iPad from PopCap, a fab touch screen version of the classic jewel swapping game with wormholes, deep voices and fresh jam music.
Fatal Fury 2 review. Classic Game Room reviews FATAL FURY 2 for Sega Genesis from Takara and SNK, the 16-bit version of SNK's awesome Neo-Geo fighting game originally released in 1992. Featuring improved visuals and sound compared to the first Fatal Fury on Genesis, Fatal Fury 2 also has more fighters (12 total that I know of) and a survival mode as well as six-button Sega Genesis controller support. Background visuals, fighter details and the overall graphics aren't up to SNK Neo-Geo standards but look good for the mighty Sega Genesis (aka Sega Mega Drive). CGR Fatal Fury 2 video review features Sega Genesis Fatal Fury 2 gameplay and characters like Andy, Terry, Mai, Big Bear, Joe Higashi, Cheng Sinzan, Kim Kaphwan, Axel Hawk, Laurence Blood, Wolfgang Krauser, Billy Kane and more.
Battleship game review. Classic Game Room reviews BATTLESHIP for Xbox 360 from Double Helix and Activision, the video game based on the movie based on the board game based on sinking Battleships! You sank my Battleship (copyright TM)!!!! Battleship video game is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 PS3, Battleship is also available on Nintendo Wii, DS and 3DS but for those versions it is a turn based strategy game. This version of Battleship videogame is a combo first person shooter and tactical naval strategy game!
Starhawk review for PS3. Classic Game Room reviews STARHAWK on the PlayStation 3, a massive space western action shooter with 32 player online multiplayer matches! Starhawk is essentially the spiritual successor to Warhawk, a massive shooter with vehicles and airplanes where you create gun turrets, walls and sniper towers using "rift energy" gained while fighting. Starhawk sadly has no relation to the Cinematronics release for the Vectrex, but they share the same name which makes it immediately cool. Fortunately, it's cool anyway because Starhawk has solid gameplay, fun multiplayer and a campaign mode to teach you how to play the game. CGR Starhawk video review has Starhawk gameplay recorded from PlayStation 3 showing Starhawk PS3 game play in HD action. From Lightbox and Sony.
Red Faction 2 review. Classic Game Room reviews RED FACTION II for PlayStation 2 from Volition and THQ released in 2002. Red Faction 2 is the sequel to the groundbreaking and amazing RED FACTION 1 released in 2001 with Geo Mod technology and a wicked sense of humor combined with solid first person shooter gameplay. While Red Faction II falls short in many areas including lack of Geo Mod destruction and sloppy early level design, it's frantic pace, hilarious screaming sounds, fire effects and great shooter gameplay make it a winner. CGR Red Faction 2 video review features Red Faction II gameplay recorded from PlayStation 2 PS2. Red Faction II can now be downloaded for your favorite video game console of choice (provided it isn't the Magnavox Odyssey II, Atari 5200 or Vectrex :( You can download for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Toy Story 1 review. Classic Game Room reviews TOY STORY for Sega Genesis from Disney and Psygnosis released in 1995. This Toy Story video game is based on the events in the Disney Pixar film, Toy Story! CGR Toy Story Sega Genesis video review features Toy Story game play showing Toy Story platforming, driving and "first person stuffed animal" saving action.
Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22 review for PlayStation. Classic Game Room reviews Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Battle 22, a fighting game from Funimation and Infogrames released in 2003 for the original Sony PlayStation... that's right, 2003. This was originally released in Japan in 1995 and may have been more exciting upon its release, but sluggish gameplay, bland background visuals and lackluster fighting make this a Dragonball Z game to pass on. Stick with the Dragonball Z Budokai games instead!
Skylanders review part 29. Classic Game Room reviews SLAM BAM for Skylanders Spyro's Adventure, a water element Skylander figure who comes with the Empire of Ice action set. CGR Slam Bam video review features Slam Bam gameplay on the PlayStation 3 version of Skylanders Spryo's Adventure as well as the Nintendo 3DS version of the game. Slam Bam surfs on a water surfboard and punches enemies with his mighty four arms! The Slam Bam figure is one of the best looking Skylanders figures with transparent blue coloring, cool details, teeth and it's relatively large and imposing!
Whip Rush review. Classic Game Room reviews WHIP RUSH for Sega Genesis from 1990 by Renovation Products! Whip Rush is a cool 2D horizontally scrolling shoot 'em up, or SHMUP, where you pilot the space ship Whip Rush against Voltegian alien scumbags trying to attack Earth because they are stupid! Voltegia will be ours!! Whip Rush has predictable early '90s SHMUP style gameplay with rotating gun pods and weapon power ups like R-Type meets Gradius. CGR Whip Rush video review features Whip Rush Sega Genesis gameplay recorded from the 16 bit Sega Genesis (aka Sega Mega Drive)
