Endless Space 2 is a turn-based strategy, science fiction 4X game developed by Amplitude Studios. It is the sequel to Endless Space, which was released in 2012. The game had been made available through Steam's early access program since October 2016. It was released on May 18, 2017. At the beginning of the game, the player can choose from one of several races, each with their own perks and traits. They are then given control of a fledgling empire, which they must expand by conquering systems. Each system has up to 5 planets, with their own environments, climates, stats (i.e. production, food, etc.), and sometimes anomalies. Anomalies can be explored using an explorer ship, and give buffs or debuffs to the entire system. Planet stats decide how effective planets are at what, while environments decide whether a planet is colonizable or not. The ability to colonize different environments is unlocked through research. Each planet can also be given a specialization, which give buffs, with additional buffs being granted based on climate. Finally, the player can construct different structures, which give system-wide buffs and can be built an unlimited number of times, with a few exceptions. To reach different systems, players must follow established star lines, unless they have special technologies researched. The game was made available through Steam's early access program on 6 October 2016. The full game was released on the 19 May 2017. The game received its third major update on the 23 March 2018. It added the Vaulter civilization, pirate bases, and an Early Access version of multiplayer mode along with several new visual elements.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is a standalone expansion pack following Dishonored 2, and was released 15 September 2017 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It follows former-assassin Billie Lurk as she finds her mentor Daud and aids in his quest to kill the Outsider, a supernatural being who bestows magical powers on a select few. The gameplay is more or less the same as in Dishonored and Dishonored 2. The player is equipped with a short sword. If the player sneaks up on a foe, they can stab them to death quickly and quietly. The player also has other gear, such as a wrist-mounted crossbow, land mines, and grenades. A new piece of gear in this game is the hook mine, which grabs a nearby enemy and knocks them unconscious, or they can be set to kill. After the first mission, the player gains access to three supernatural abilities. Unlike previous games in the series, the player does not purchase them with "runes"; they are all fully unlocked from the start. These abilities cost energy to use, but unlike in the previous games, the player's energy regenerates fully on its own; there are no energy-replenishing consumables. Hazel Monforton, one of the writers for Death of the Outsider, was hired by Arkane after posting an analysis of the Outsider in Dishonored 2 via Twitter thread, comparing the Outsider's death to the Ancient Greek ritual of pharmakos. She was eventually, according to her portfolio, brought onboard permanently as a narrative designer. Death of the Outsider is meant to bring an end to "the Kaldwin era", an arc that began in the first Dishonored with the assassination of Jessamine Kaldwin and followed characters involved with it, such as Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin. Whether any future Dishonored games will be made is undecided, but would feature different characters as their protagonists.

Publisher Funcom and developer Mighty Kingdom announced today that the release of Conan Chop Chop, the action-adventure rogue like that was teased on April 1st and revealed at E3 this year, will be moved to Q1 2020. Following a very successful first demo of the game to press this summer, the companies have decided to increase their investment in the project to deliver a bigger and better game. Among the features to be implemented in the upcoming action-adventure roguelike is online multiplayer. “We had an absolute blast showcasing the game at E3 and Gamescom earlier this year. It was especially gratifying to see how much fun people had playing the game in co-op mode. The teamwork, the banter, the way people moved ever so sneakily towards their near-death companions in order to pick up their gold when they fall… We couldn’t have been happier with the reception,” says founder and CEO of Mighty Kingdom Philip Mayes. “One of the things we get to do with the extra time is expand multiplayer from just couch co-op to also include full online multiplayer,“ says Mayes. “This has undoubtedly been THE most requested feature after we started showing off the game, so we’re very excited for the opportunity to bring that in.” Conan Chop Chop is due to release in the first quarter of 2020 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch

Disney+ (pronounced "Disney plus") is an upcoming American subscription video on-demand service owned and operated by the Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International division of The Walt Disney Company. The service will be built around content from Disney's main entertainment studios, including Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Fox, and National Geographic. The service will operate alongside Hulu – which Disney gained a controlling stake in following the 20th Century Fox purchase. Hulu will also host Disney+ as an add-on service. It is currently unknown if films (both theatrical and direct-to-video) from Disneytoon Studios will be available at the service's launch. It is expected that Disney+ will have approximately 7,000 television episodes and 500 films, including content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Fox, and National Geographic. New releases from 20th Century Fox will not immediately be available on either Disney+ or Hulu, as Fox has an output deal with HBO until 2022. Captain Marvel will be the first theatrically-released Disney film to stream exclusively on Disney+.Bob Iger said that Disney+ will eventually host the entire Disney film library, including films currently in the "Disney Vault." The service will also hold exclusive streaming rights to The Simpsons, with all thirty seasons of the series available on launch.
