Welcome to MyBinding video. Today we look at MBM's Destroyit 5009, a high capacity cross cut shredder. This thing shreds, just look at the joy on that worker's face. For organizations with a need for high volume shredding, an in-house shredding program based around the Destroyit high capacity shredders is one of the most secure and economical ways of disposing sensitive documents. It's easy to use with all the controls on the front, automatic stop shred bag when it's full, and automatic reverse feature if there should be a paper jam. It seems like you can throw just about anything at the Destroyit 5009. It has a three phase motor that's ready for continuous action, it's got a fully enclosed dustproof gearbox housing, and a 79-gallon bin for waste. And it has a convenient centralized oiler for lubrication of the cutting head. And two automatic speed modes are power for bulk shredding and speed for high speed shredding. And finally, the strip size is 11/32 by 1.5-3 inches, which is level two security. That's the Destroyit 5009. Klax review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Klax for Arcade (And Gamecube as part of Midway Arcade Classics). Tetris has its clones. Puyo Puyo has its clones. But I can't think of any Klax clone, so I guess this is unique by default. There's a conveyor belt, there's tiles, and they disappear when you get three of 'em in a row. Sounds simple, but in practice this thing is BRUTAL. After all, it's designed to run you for as many quarters as possible. And if I actually had to plunk quarters into this thing, I'd probably do just that. This video review features video gameplay footage of Klax for GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Peter Packer HD from Chillingo for the Apple iPad. Peter Packer HD is an iPad game that's a lot like those wooden toys you played with when you were a kid. The one with the cube that has holes cut into it, and you have to fit the right shapes into the right holes. Only Peter Packer picks his pieces a little differently. Peter Packer HD takes place on a conveyor belt with three chutes. You play by dragging the appropriate pieces to their appropriate holes, matching the color and shape. You have to fling every single package into a chute, though. If you let one slide by or make an incorrect match, you lose a chance. Lose all three chances, and Peter Packer is given a pink piece of paper. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Peter Packer HD for the iPad and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of MLB Bobblehead Battle, a downloadable game on the Xbox Live Arcade from Konami for the Xbox 360. MLB Bobblehead Battle is like prior MLB Bobblehead games in appearance. You play with real big league teams and players, each of whom is represented by his bobblehead. It's an adorable concept, and it's a really clever idea, too...especially given baseball's adoration of bobbleheads. But Battle is a baseball game in name only. Where the feeling of playing with toys ended with the aesthetic, it actually carries over into the game itself in this one. There are no fielders, so it's a one-on-one showdown between the pitching and the batter. There are also walls and conveyor belts. This video review features video gameplay footage of MLB Bobblehead Battle for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
odellstunkard**** Odell Stunkard on The Business Spotlight TV show hosted by Patrick Dougher talking about the lessons he learned in his first business. Connect with him at 972-600-2300.
Patrick: I want to get into what you're doing to create the success you're having because you have created systems that create success. Let's talk about what you're doing.
Odell: We can go back to the beginning. We can go back to the first business that I came into. It was already structured. I didn't create it. I didn't create it at all. But I came in at a place where it was rapidly moving towards growing, growing, gone. Meaning that the sales were just going through the roof, and with it so were the expenses to maintain it. The time that I came in, sales were on a record climb and so were expenses. So the net income was in a negative.
When we started looking at all of that, then we realized that we did not know where our threshold points were for what it took to produce a product and get it to a customer. We had to begin examining that. We began setting up a war room with metric boards where we were tracking the different pieces of the organization that drive things so that when we got ready to make a change, we could calibrate a specific dial instead of just setting a goal and saying, "Go do it."
We also put in implementation strategies with database management and with accounting practices to make sure that the financial and the customer service pieces could flow smoothly through the human aspect that was running this conveyor belt. Through that we were able to reduce the staff by over half. Flat line sales for one year. The following year, it was on a 25% growth curve with 15% on the bottom line. Now it averages 25% straight profit.
EDGE review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of EDGE on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U developed by mobigame and published by Two Tribes. Combine Q*bert and BIT*TRIP with a little plane geometry, and voila! You’ve got EDGE. The popular mobile puzzler has made its way to Nintendo’s eShop, and it feels right at home. Players flip a cube through more than 100 levels, each one an obstacle course built from basic shapes. It looks simple, but the levels are in a state of constant motion, with switches that trigger hidden bridges and platforms and conveyor belts. The levels are like LEGO structures being put together by invisible hands. Collect the glowing cubes and get to the exit as fast as you can to get the highest grade possible. Your first run through a level is to learn it and work your way toward that one perfect run. The Wii U version includes off-screen play on the GamePad, as well as all the levels from the EDGE expansion. EDGE is a single-player puzzle-platformer. This video review features video gameplay footage of EDGE on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
RUSH review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** RUSH review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of RUSH on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U developed and published by Two Tribes. Two Tribes brings more cube-oriented puzzles to the eShop with RUSH, a spiritual sequel to their previous puzzler, EDGE. Unlike that game, however, RUSH doesn’t give you direct control over the cubes. This time, you’re more of a traffic cop, guiding the multicolored cubes by placing objects in their environment. Using everything from arrows that change their direction to conveyor belts and even stop signs, you must find a way to get the cubes from their spawning points to their matching endpoints. Of course, it wouldn’t be a puzzle game if the levels weren’t, you know, puzzling. Each level offers a new design that makes traversing the terrain a challenge. RUSH has an almost mechanical nature—its puzzles feature lots of complexities and moving parts, but when they work, it suddenly looks so simple. RUSH is a single-player eShop puzzle game. This video review features video gameplay footage of RUSH on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Wêreld Records is a community of South African artists that are working together to create beautiful and provocative music and visual art, largely beyond the reach of mainstream conveyor belts. The eclectic armada of Wêreld members share an intimidating range of skill-sets and already boast diverse bodies of work. Carefully reconsidering the connections between artist, artwork and perceiver, and constantly reinventing how and where live music can be performed and received, Wêreld was dreamed up and instigated by Jaco van der Merwe (of Bittereinder and Walkie Talkie) in the infamous and unpredictable city of Pretoria, South Africa, in 2015.
