*******www.salemglobal****/ecommerce.php, *******www.salemglobal****/cyber-monday.php SalemGlobal Internet Website Marketing is the leader in national and local new york ecommerce marketing and consulting. We have been online since 1997 and created our first store in 1998. For years many people didn't trust selling products online because they were afraid that it wasn't secure, their credit card would be stolen and frankly speaking they would not get their products and gifts that they ordered. But along the way of the Internet someone came along and declared that 'commerce' is king and not necessarily 'content.' In the year 2007, we here at SalemGlobal recognize that it is actually the marriage of content together with commerce that makes selling and buying online so successful. Traditionally speaking, in the world of commerce, Thanksgiving marked the day that people started counting down to Christmas. And since Christmas was, has been, and always will be the day and time of year that people are in the mode of 'it is better to give than to receive,' shopping started at an all time high vs. the rest of the year. Markets, shops and stores started recognizing this fact and also started their specials and sales at this time to lure buyers into their doors. Today in the year 2007, sales are now starting at 5am, 4am even 12 midnight on what is now know as 'black' Friday. Now a new phenomena has started. More people than ever are now buying online. Not over the weekend when they are traveling and spending quality time with their families, but on the Monday when people come back to work and their employer's computers. Why brave the malls and elbow your way to the cashier when you can order from the comfort of your cubicle or desk or office using your laptop or desktop computer. And why fight with others on your own time when you can do it on your bosses time. Cyber Monday has finally arrived when online ordering and shopping has peaked. Cyber Monday gives the online buyer enough time to not only get the gifts they want for the holidays, but also enough time to return if they don't like it or if its broken and switch for something else. Happy holidays whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa everyone! From Raphi Salem, SalemGlobal Internet Website Marketing.`

Cyber Monday, the digital equivalent of Black Friday, took place this week as many online retailers offered huge discounts on popular consumer goods. The media has reported gloomy projections for retail sales for the season, even though Black Friday turned out to be a huge success this year, leading many analysts to wonder if the large amount of articles written about poor retail sales could turn into a self fulfilling prophecy. NBC seems to be having a bit of trouble selling their remaining Super Bowl ad slots. The network announced in September that they had already sold 85 percent of the very expensive 30 second spots, but as of now, the Peacock has not been able to sell the remaining 8 slots. Companies hit hard by the economic crisis who have not purchased Super Bowl Ads include GM, FedEx, Chrysler, and Ford. Turning to video games, Sumner Redstone sold off 87 percent of Midway Games to Mark Thomas. Redstone made the sale to help alleviate National Amusement's 1.6 billion dollar debt. Facebook just keeps getting bigger. The extremely popular social networking site is looking to expand the reach of their Facebook Connect Service, which lets users log into multiple sites through their Facebook profile. New companies that will be weaved into the service include The Discovery Channel, The San Francisco Chronicle, DiGG, and Hulu. Launched in May, Facebook Connect can keep track of the activities of users on the connected third party sites and can update that information on the user's Facebook News Feed. A huge deal may be in the works as the Times of London is reporting that Microsoft might buy Yahoo's extremely valuable Search Business for 20 billion dollars. Though the Times article included very detailed information on the deal, many of the parties named in the report denied the rumor, including the founder of Velocity Investment Group, who said that there is "no truth to it." That's the latest tech biz news. Keep tuning in to Get The Daily.Com for the 411 on the tech biz, world news, politics, entertainment, and everything else you need to stay informed. I'm Dana Ward. The Monday following the Thanksgiving Day is termed as the Cyber Monday. Traditionally, Black Friday is associated with the shopping in Brick and Mortar stores whereas Cyber Monday Sales means shopping online. Cyber Monday is the busiest day of the year for all the online retailers. Online retailers wait for this day as this is the only day when their business is in the full swing and it is the time to book great profits for the financial year. Many people love to shop on Cyber Mondays instead of the Black Friday to avoid the inconvenience associated with it like over crowded malls. Most online retail stores come up with their best cyber Monday deals well in advance to withhold the interest of the shoppers. The best of Cyber Monday sales 2009 are already on the floor. These deals are advertised either on the Internet or local newspapers. If you are also one of those who love to shop on cyber Monday sales here are some of the tips for you to make your shopping experience pleasurable: •Keep your shopping list ready. Prepare the list of what all gifts you need to buy this Christmas to bring a smile on the face of your near and dear ones. This will help you save your time and energy while shopping. •Try and save as much money as possible to shop conveniently this Cyber Monday. Shortage of funds is the biggest turndown while shopping as there are so many lucrative deals to pick. •Look out for authentic websites which get you the list of the hottest deals of the season. There are hundreds of websites which promise to bring you the best and the latest deals, but only few of them live-up to their promise. Search for a website which is updated regularly. Try and research about the website to know about its dealings. •You can even sign-up for the newsletter by the various websites to keep a track of the latest deals and discount offers. This way you can be sure of that you will be abreast with all the hottest deals in the market. •In the times of economic crunch it is a good idea to try and save as much as possible. So, look out for website or retail stores that promise free shipping of the goods. •To assure that you grab the best deal available in the market it is advisable to compare the prices. Not only prices compare if there are any other benefits offered by the websites like assured gifts for a purchase of stipulated sum of money. •Before you make your purchase make it sure that the payment procedure is safe and secure. These days millions of people are being the victim of identity theft. •Ask for the return or exchange guidelines of the website to avoid later harassments. With these simple tips your shopping experience would be quite a fun. You will get the chance to lay your hands on the best cyber monday deals 2009. So, gear up and have a fun and frolic best Cyber Monday sales 2009.
