We offer you the chance to view the first debate between Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, but through the earpiece of McCain's Brain. Episode 3 edited, written produced by Andy Signore, Daniel Hartley and Arhthur Gradstein on 9/26/08
Last night's McCain and Obama debate included this interesting discussion about their bracelets. I have great respect for the military and those that died serving this country. But to see politicians trying to "one up" each other by wearing these bracelets. Oy...
McCain: And I'll tell you, I had a town hall meeting in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, and a woman stood up and she said, "Senator McCain, I want you to do me the honor of wearing a bracelet with my son's name on it." He was 22 years old and he was killed in combat outside of Baghdad, Matthew Stanley, before Christmas last year. This was last August, a year ago. And I said, "I will -- I will wear his bracelet with honor."
OBAMA: Jim, let me just make a point. I've got a bracelet, too, from Sergeant - from the mother of Sergeant Ryan David Jopeck, sure another mother is not going through what I'm going through.

Sunday Show Roundup: Debate Scorecard
Your Daily Politics Video Blog: The first presidential debate of 2008 is in the books. Who won? Who lost? The Sunday heads hash it out.
From Kennedy's visual triumph over Nixon in 1960 to Al Gore's sighs in 2000, CQ Politics political editor Bob Benenson looks at past debate moments that mattered.
The new interactive video platform Ved.io, which allows users to annotate video with links, pictures, and commentary, opened to the public yesterday. Ved.io's coverage of Friday's debate brings information from the web--like voting records, news, analysis, and quotes--to a screen adjacent to the streaming video.
I interviewed Ved.io founder Craig Boyce at the TechCrunch50 conference last month, and he showed me how the platform works. He also discussed the new kinds of video advertising opportunities the service makes possible.
Ved.io's interactive coverage of the debates comes on the tail of a number of other interactive debate video players, like the one on politics.msnbc**** that I blogged about yesterday and the one on Current TV that I blogged about Friday.

At the vice presidential debate in St. Louis, the McCain campaign rented out a stadium to re-energize the conservative base in light of Sarah Palin's recent gaffes. Despite the revival feel, zeal for Palin isn't translating in the polls. While some would argue Palin exceeded expectations, unregistered voters seem unimpressed.
