In 1999, Ryan Guerra started working on naming the decade, the Unies, after an article he read in USA Today. Media coverage came quickly.
We're on the street of Columbia, SC and we ask people what the current decade name should be. It seems that no one has a clue as to what we should call this decade. But we know, "The Unies"
Naming the decade, the Unies, took Corey and I to the streets of New York. This was a month before September 11, 2001. We soon realized that people were not used to receiving free stuff in New York City.
