The Maltese bichon is a small dog that weighs between 1 and 3 kg. It has a compact body and inclined shoulder blades. The back is level and the ribs well out. The tail is slightly curled on the back. The neck is elegantly structured and allows you to carry your head high. The head is well proportioned to the body and the skull is slightly round. Fallen ears are low set with a lot of hair. The eyes are dark, the black truffle and the muzzle of medium length and slightly sharp. If the hair is left long, it gets to sweep the floor and its silky appearance gives the Maltese bichon an almost ornamental appearance. The long hair of the head can be held in a bow or left loose. The hair color is pure white. The Maltese bichon moves with light and fluid footsteps.
