Year Video Recorded: 2011 Song Name: Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood Song Artist: Santa Esmeralda Song First Heard [by TIGER M]: Black Mamba versus O-Renshi Scene in Kill Bill vol. 1 film Song Album [Compact Disc Album]: Kill Bill Volume 1 Original Soundtrack Stepmania Version: 3.9beta What Is It Time For: a "Dance! Dance! Revolution!! ^_^ And So It Begins ^_~* ********** This is indeed one of my most favorite stepcharts of the 100 original stepcharts created from myself between the ages of 19 and 22 hands-down! O.O The music fits the steps so well! I'd also like to say with assist tick/rhythm clapper on--it possibly makes this section of this EPIC song by Santa Esmeralda even more enjoyable! =) Not only that -- the theme for which this song was chosen is nearly as prominent in the minds of viewers of the excellent Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill as is the "Whistling Scene." ^_^ For quite some time--the name of this song I did not know. What I did know was after I learned the title of this super song and realized for the very first time just HOW effective audio editing for movie scenes could be after realizing just WHAT SONG this was and WHAT SCENE it went to after minutes of build-up! ...This stepchart was inspired. ^_^ This Moment. ********** This Stephcart and song which was inspired to be listened to from the fabulous motion picture Kill Bill is one of the very first stepchart I felt was appropriate for the elaborate background idea which is seen. =) Long before YouTube or Social Networks were publicly available or popular as they are today--stepcharts [and videos!] like this one were far from common. =) In fact, at the time this stepchart was released (to VERY high critical acclaim on Bemanistyle at the time =) -- there were those who were unable to enjoy a stepchart like this much thanks to the motion in the background as many computers were not capable of handling background changes without stalling [and we won't even talk about those with videos o.o] Had a great deal of fun putting together the motion slides to the Black Mamba versus O-Renshi scene theme which for the longest I had no idea what it was called. I enjoyed the theme so much in fact -- that I purchased both the Kill Bill original soundtracks online simply to find this song! I was still far from as I am today at 19 (as of this writing I'm 26 -- 27 near-end of next month Our Author willing =) -- so simply looking at the songs played during the film at the closing credits evaded me. ^_^; Later I re-sold both soundtracks on eBay along with a portion of my album collection [including a Signed Copy of Mindless Self Indulgence's classic album - Tight -- which I found on eBay =3] after getting [i.e. ripping =3] the songs I liked the most from both albums =3 This included this awesome and EPIC track (Santa Esmeralda - Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood) Believe it or not, I have seen the original Kill Bill film all of ONE time through-and-through and seen the second portion [Kill Bill Volume 2] all of ONE time. I often do not view a film or anime more than once--there are just so many great ones! Even if for only the sharing and creation of this very stepchart at this point-in-time--I am more than thankful that this film--along with the referrals from my elder brothers to view the "cartoon/part-drama-part-action/live-action film/part-anime" movie Kill Bill came into my life! =D This is my way of giving back and I certainly hope you will feel inspired by and enjoy this stepchart too! Stay ROCKIN' And enjoy life and all to the superb memories and experiences it certainly can and may bring! Peace. =) Forever In Love With All That Which Exists (That Which Is Seen & Unseen, Known & Unknown), -DJ, Writer, Artist, Musician, Eternal Student & Being of Existence, -WAM!
