Super Mario five-inch figures review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of the five-inch Super Mario figures from Goldie Marketing. As beautiful as Goldie Marketing’s lines of miniature Super Mario figures are, they’re too small to play with and are better served as collectibles. Goldie also has a line of super-sized figures, but those might be a little too big. That’s where their five-inch series fits so nicely—bigger than Goldie’s figurines, smaller than their super-sized figures. They’re just right! Like the super-sized figures, however, only one series of these five-inch figures has been released. It’s a five-piece set that includes Mario, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi and Donkey Kong, and their size and movable parts makes them Goldie’s most ideal Nintendo playthings. They’re extremely detailed and well made, like most of the Goldie lines, and make for excellent display pieces for diehard Nintendo fan and collectors. This video review features video footage of the five-inch Super Mario figures from Goldie Marketing and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

The world of consumer entertainment is about to change forever. New technology from Philips, on display at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show, promises to revolutionize how people experience their favorite movies, programs and video games by drawing them deeper into the action. Cameron Batten and Janna Rachelle, Philips' roving reporters, are here to tell you more. Philips HD FlatTV with Ambilight, which comes in 42-inch and 52-inch models, not only boasts high-definition picture quality, but also features Philips proprietary Ambilight technology. Ambilight expands the viewing area and produces dramatic color and light effects to the sides. This also helps relax viewers eyes and provides a glow that reduces eye strain. Audiophiles can also match an Ambilight TV with an Ambisound SoundBar home theater. Only five inches thick, the Ambisound SoundBar integrates the traditional components of a home theater system into one SoundBar and subwoofer eliminating the usual mess of wires. Video game enthusiasts can take advantage of amBX, technology that immerses the user completely in the video gaming experience by using light, wind and vibrating effects. With amBX, players will be engulfed by the sights, sounds and sensations so they live the game instead of playing the game. For more information, consumers can visit *******www.philips****/ces.

Kidney stone surgery in India can cure you of all kidney stones that have created trouble in your urinary system. Now medically advanced urosurgery hospitals of Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore are providing medically safe and less cost kidney stone surgery in India with a successful outcome. Kidney stones are one of the most common disorders of the urinary tract. Kidney stones are hard masses that develop from crystals that separate from the urine and build up on the inner surfaces of the kidney. During kidney stone surgery an (IV) line will be started so that patient can receive fluids and medication. Depending on the procedure of kidney stone surgery regional or general anesthesia will be used. Previously the only way to access the kidney was through a long (five-inch) abdominal incision but now rigid and flexible instruments called endoscopes can be passed through tubes placed in the kidney through a very tiny “keyhole” incision. The method and procedure of kidney stone surgery depends on where the stone is lodged. The cost of medical treatment in India is affordable and quality is of international level. Uninsured kidney stone patients can be assisted by medical tourism in India for planning a successful medical travel and kidney stone surgery in India. Retrofittable 21st Century Engine Management -- For Twins! AOPA Expo 2008 gave the Aero-TV crew a chance to catch up with the latest and greatest from Xerion Avionics. This time we got a long look at the with the AuRACLE CRM 2120 twin-engine monitoring system. The CRM 2120 is designed to be a total replacement system for aged/old tech engine gauges with a single integrated monitoring system that will make engine management shores a far less tasking effort. Xerion representatives state the AuRACLE shortens the scan required by scattered and outdated steam gauges by providing a localized and innovative display. The AuRACLE CRM 2120 displays engine data on dual 5.0" sunlight-readable LCD displays (now available in either vertical or horizontal formats), and offers military-grade reliability. Engine and fuel data from both engines appear on two five-inch, sunlight-readable, LCD screens. Operation info such as MP, RPM and fuel flows are displayed on the upper screen, along with critical engine parameters, including CHT, EGT and TIT. The lower screen displays fuel and oil status, percentage of horsepower, OAT and more. The CRM 2120 is manufactured to military specifications with a single, remote-engine interface penetrating the firewall in each nacelle. With all the emphasis being given on retrofitting and upgrading attitude, navigation and communication displays, it's an honest pleasure to see a solid effort to bring 21st Century technology to engine data and management -- especially when it looks THIS good. The CRM 2120 is manufactured to military specifications with a single remote engine interface penetrating the firewall in each nacelle. Xerion tells ANN that the AuRACLE CRM2120 is a dual-box networked system, where the system's EIU (Engine Interface Unit) is mounted on the engine-side of the firewall and where ALL engine sensors connect directly to the EIU, 'over there.' Engine and fuel data from both engines appears on two 5-inch sunlight readable LCD screens. Operation info such as MP, RPM and fuel flows are displayed on the upper screen, along with critical engine parameters, including CHT, EGT and TIT. The lower screen displays fuel and oil status, percentage of horsepower, OAT and more. The engine data is transmitted via a networked CAN bus to the Display Unit using a single bulkhead connector on each firewall. From there, a second cable marries up with the DU. Xerion notes that this networked system 'reduces wire runs, thereby significantly reducing installation costs and is very advantageous for pressurized aircraft.' The AuRACLE CRM2120 networked system architecture also allows for future expansion to communicate with other networked Xerion engine monitoring systems. Assembling the valve box or installing the valve box is fairly straight forward. Usually there is a little bit of cutting involved in order to fit the box over your pipes. Sometimes you have to cut out a piece of a side, or sometimes you don’t have to cut out anything if the pipes are deep enough in the ground. But in our case our holes are perfect for our situation and we just cut out the slivers of plastic and they fit right in over our pipe. And then you will make your final placement after your valves are fully installed. So, now we are ready to start out valve box. We’re going to show this in close to real time because it’s a fairly important part of the process and one of the more technical parts. So, here I am cutting 3 to 4 inch pieces of Schedule 40 High Pressure PVC Pipe so that I can use them as connectors to my T’s and elbows when putting together the three valves that we have for this system. Of course, you’ll want to clean each piece before assembling with PVC cleaner. And once again, we’re using fairly quick dry glue. This is a valve and so I’m going to begin with gluing the valve to the pipe. And every valve system is going to be laid out probably just a little bit different, just depending on how many valves you have and where they are located in your system. In this particular system, we are going to put all the valves in one valve box. You can run the valves out to your individual zones and put a valve right at the beginning of each zone. In that case, you would need to take your main line all the way to the beginning of your zone. In this particular case, we are going to take our main line just a few feet and put all of our valves in one box. So, I’ve laid out how I want my valves to lay in the valve box, and now I’m just gluing it together piece-by-piece making sure that the valves are pointing in the right direction. Just showing you that there are arrows on the valves there on the front and the back showing you the direction of the water. You want to take your mainline and hook it to the rear of the valve so that the water is going through the valve in the right direction. So, we’ve got valves one, two, and three. I’m putting an elbow on the last valve since there won’t be any water going passed that. And that’s how I want to put those valves together. So, I’m going to use my cut pieces and just get ready to put all the valves together in a line to hook it up to our main water. So, now that we’ve assembled this, we’re ready to go to the exit point of the water. I think he’s trying to explain that you want to have plenty of distance between the valves. He said there’s a couple of inches of pipe between the valves there and you definitely want to leave a little bit so that if you ever have a break in the future, you’ll be able to cut each individual valve out if necessary and still have something to glue to. So, always leave two or three inches of bare pipe between the valves and between your T’s and your elbows so that if you every have to cut one out, you’ll still have an inch or two to glue that back together without having to take all of the valves our and replace them all. Once again, use plenty of length on your cut pieces. We’re going down about four or five inches on this one. So, two of these valves are going in the same direction. Two of the zones are going to be going from the valve in the same direction to achieve their positioning. So you notice how one is longer than he others, that’s so the pipes can lay side-by-side in the trench. Now, this valve is going to be facing the opposite direction. So, it won’t be getting in the way of the other two pipes. If you have multiple valves, if you have more than three, or more than three going in the same direction, you’ll have to extend those out **** pipes each time, or you can actually bring one of them out and then go up above the pipe, which would req...

*******www.headlineds**** -- "'Green' Youth Flock to D.C." is from the March 2, 2009 edition of the Express. Power Shift 09 is in town with students from all over the nation here in D.C. to lobby lawmakers for stronger environmental protections. The conference culminates in a rally today at the capitol. I saw these kids all huddled in the Metro on the way in to work this morning. The timing sucks for them as today brought five inches of snow! We don't do snow so well in D.C. The Ideal 900 energy saver features a dual pane glass insert with a dual flap pet opening. The frame of this door is constructed of heavy duty aluminum. The Ideal 900 is available in two height ranges and has four pet opening sizes to choose from. The top piece has a five inch adjustment range to accommodate many sliding door openings. Each Ideal 900 series patio insert includes a plastic locking security panel. It utilizes vinyl flaps to ensure a positive seal. These flaps are removed with ease and additional replacements are available to purchase. The Ideal 900 series has a 4.25” rise, with no optional rise heights available. The rise height is the distance between the bottom of the patio insert and the bottom of the pet opening. It is important to select a pet opening size that will accommodate your pet considering this 4.25” rise. The Ideal 900 features an adjustable, spring loaded top section that has an adjustment range of 5”. The top section of the insert is 13/16” wide and will fit most sliding door channels. If your patio door has a rail going across the top channel of your patio door this insert may not work for your sliding door. The top of the 900 series patio door does not have a channel groove. Once the top section is adjusted to fit into your sliding door opening it is secured by the included self tapping screws that affixed to your main frame. The 900 series door works with vinyl, wood and metal framed sliding doors. The bottom section of the Ideal 900 has an overall width of 7/8”. The bottom “C” channel measuring 5/16” wide straddles the base rail of your patio door. If your doors bottom center rail is wider than 5/16”, this insert may not work with your sliding door. The Ideal 900 comes with complete locking hardware that screws into the frame of the insert, allowing you to lock your sliding door. You can also use aftermarket pin locks, security brace bars or wooden dowels to immobilize your sliding door.
