Using the breathtaking footage of the real Ohio and Tennessee Valley floods as an exciting backdrop, the story centers around the operator Helen. Helen is played by the accomplished and beautiful Judith Allen who is pursued by the linesmen who are out in the stormy weather. Viewers get a wonderful glimpse into the technology and methodology of telephone workers in the thirties as the linesmen bravely race through danger. Telephone Operator finally explodes when the flood waters really hit in a thrilling culmination of the elements and the heroes trapped by them!
