Clark county in Las Vegas has people running to get last minute flu shots, after five disclosed deaths.

Even if you think you’ve avoided the flu so far - a recent study by a Virginia Tech researcher claims no one is safe from lurking flu strains...
“...we put our filters in there and we run that for about eight hours and collect samples of the airborne particles unto the filter. The filters were reviewed back at the lab. The concentrations are high enough that it is certainly possible that you could go into a room where someone has been sick and has been shedding viruses and you could just breath that air and get, potentially get the flu.”
WFAA compared this season to the H1N1 outbreak, and says these numbers are normal.
“H1N1 isn’t the top circulating strain this year. Health experts aren’t really sure why we’re not seeing much swine flu this year. It could be because of built-up immunity or mass vaccination in the last year.”
