For a nation to steer out of its present conditions and usher in the future with a definite step, it needs a visionary leadership who must have the ability to think about, and plan the future with imagination and wisdom. Vision is statesman like foresight and political sagacity. As Dag Hammarskjold says of vision ‘only he, who keeps his eye fixed on the far horizon will find his right road.’ To have a vision one needs no academic degree but keen and sharp observance of one’s interest. And, the object of interest for Rajiv was certainly his country and her people. Rajiv was really an ideal blend of youth, vigor, hope, dynamism, modernity, and above all, humanity.

Like my mother Indirajee, Rajeevjee also always worried about the poverty and the underprivileged said Sonia Gandhi. Our government has been trying to make policies for the welfare of the poor, she claimed. She further expreesed with pride that she did spend her life with both Indirajee and Rajeevjee and she adopted ‘service to the country’ as her religion.

Rahul Gandhi talked clearly that he wants more development in UP especially in Amethi. There a lot of schemes made by the Central Government, but the implementation is not proper by many states. We should concentrate on further development in the fields of education, health etc. I wish these developments be start from Amethi.

A patriotic video clip, mixing the images of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi with a popular Hindi song “Bharat hum ko jaan se pyaara hei” which has been widely singing during the occasion of Independence day and Republic day celebrations. The song gives the message that the country is dearer than our own life and we would sacrifice our life for our beloved country.

Gandhi Ji organized dandi yatra to fight against the british rule and to unite India; now we also are organizing this yatra for the same purpose. This yatra is against the present divisive politics in India. 40 years ago Gandhi Ji taught us that we should be proud of our country and should believe that our country can progress if all of us work with unity. Gandhi Ji had confidence in himself and on his country. If you have confidence in you then only you can think about the country. There is no need to underestimate others. Those forces we are fighting against have pride about their country. When british were ruling our country we raised our voice against that reime with confidence. Now we do have our own government but still we are fighting with each other. Our country can not progress until we come together. This yatra will end soon but we should not forget the purpose behind it. Don’t forget that doing a yatra of 10 days or listening to speech are not enough. You have to take the message from village to village. We will have to educate all our brothers and sisters the real motive behind our yatra. The purpose of this yatra is to unite people and aims for the progress of our country.

Even if I died in the service of the nation, I would be proud of it. Every drop of my blood... will contribute to the growth of this nation and to make it strong and dynamic. Have a bias toward action - let's see something happen now. You can break that big plan into small steps and take the first step right away. My father was a statesman, I am a political woman. My father was a saint. I am not. There are moments in history when brooding tragedy and its dark shadows can be lightened by recalling great moments of the past. Anger is never without an argument, but seldom with a good one. A nation' s strength ultimately consists in what it can do on its own, and not in what it can borrow from others. My grandfather once told me that there were two kinds of people: those who do the work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group; there was much less competition. The power to question is the basis of all human progress. We have believed-and we do believe now-that freedom is indivisible, that peace is indivisible, that economic prosperity is indivisible. Martyrdom does not end something, its only a beginning. You cannot shake hands with a clenched fist. I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people. Whenever you take a step forward, you are bound to disturb something.

The most famous patriotic song ‘mere watan ke logon.. “ which we normally hear during Independence Day and Republic day celebrations, has been reproduced here describing Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi and of course the Congress party. The song remembers us the contributions made by the tall leaders like Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. It also reminds us the sacrifice of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi both were assassinated by the anti-national terrorist forces. Proper mixing of images, clubbing with a very touchy singing the song clearly helps us to travel through the history of India and Inter National Congress and the stalwart leaders Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi

Mother, I bow to thee! Rich with thy hurrying streams, bright with orchard gleams, Cool with thy winds of delight, Dark fields waving Mother of might, Mother free. Glory of moonlight dreams, Over thy branches and lordly streams, Clad in thy blossoming trees, Mother, giver of ease Laughing low and sweet! Mother I kiss thy feet, Speaker sweet and low! Mother, to thee I bow. Who hath said thou art weak in thy lands When the sword flesh out in the seventy million hands And seventy million voices roar Thy dreadful name from shore to shore? With many strengths who art mighty and stored, To thee I call Mother and Lord! Though who savest, arise and save! To her I cry who ever her foeman drove Back from plain and Sea And shook herself free. Thou art wisdom, thou art law, Thou art heart, our soul, our breath Though art love divine, the awe In our hearts that conquers death. Thine the strength that nervs the arm, Thine the beauty, thine the charm. Every image made divine In our temples is but thine. Thou art Durga, Lady and Queen, With her hands that strike and her swords of sheen, Thou art Lakshmi lotus-throned, And the Muse a hundred-toned, Pure and perfect without peer, Mother lend thine ear, Rich with thy hurrying streams, Bright with thy orchard gleems, Dark of hue O candid-fair In thy soul, with jewelled hair And thy glorious smile divine, Lovilest of all earthly lands, Showering wealth from well-stored hands! Mother, mother mine! Mother sweet, I bow to thee, Mother great and free!

Sonia Gandhi asked those people who were leveling baseless charges against her, " Right from the day I became Indiraji's daughter in law till today which Indian tradition I haven't followed. As a daughter in law, as a wife, as a mother, as a widow, as an Indian, as a Congress party member which all duties have I not performed”.
