Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Super Godzilla for the Super Nintendo, developed by Toho. As aliens invade Earth only you can control Godzilla (thanks to a chip implanted in his brain) to save the planet against monsters like King Ghidorah, and Mechagodzilla. The gameplay is a strange mix of strategically maneuvering Godzilla on a grid based map, collecting items and destroying stuff, and eventually culminating in a boss battle driven by your fighting spirit meters and cinematic special attacks. Fans of guys fighting in giant rubber suits or strange 16 bit experiences will not want to miss this one! This review features Super Godzilla gameplay footage and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.

Godzilla: Kaijuu no Daishingeki review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Godzilla: Kaijuu no Daishingeki for Game Gear developed by Sims and published by Sega. Fighting game? Nope. Brainless destruction simulator? Try again. When Sega got their hands on Godzilla for a Game Gear adaptation, they went TACTICAL STRATEGY, allowing the player to coordinate the interception of the aforementioned giant monster (and his pals) by a well-supplied army force... or switch things around and play as the giant monster, being intercepted by said force, and blowing them all up because IT'S FREAKIN' GODZILLA. This video review features video gameplay footage of Godzilla: Kaijuu no Daishingeki for Game Gear and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Godzilla: The Series review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Godzilla: The Series for the Game Boy Color developed by Crawfish Interactive and published by Crave Entertainment. In 1998, there was a remake of the classic film Godzilla. This remake wasn't quite so classic, but it did spawn Godzilla: The Series, the animated program upon which this game is based. On the Game Boy, Godzilla: The Series is a slow-paced and methodical action/shooter. As Godzilla automatically walks forward, it's up to the player to defend him. Spit fire, stomp the Earth and swing your tail to destroy your enemies and prove you're king of the monsters. This video review features video gameplay footage of Godzilla: The Series for the Game Boy Color and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
