Goldie Super Mario figurine set, Series 1 review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Series 1 of Goldie Marketing’s Super Mario figurine set. Goldie Marketing is one of the world’s leading providers of Super Mario and Nintendo collectible toys. And one of their most popular lines is their Super Mario figurines. Series 1 includes six characters. Mario, Luigi and Yoshi are the obvious choices, and the set is rounded out with awesome figurines of Bullet Bill, Paragoomba and Bob-omb. Goldie’s series are usually split in the same way, with three common characters and three less obvious choices. For Nintendo fans, that makes these series a must-purchase. The quality is a bit inconsistent from item to item, but in general, the Goldie figurines are very well done. They often use actual poses from official Nintendo art, from Mario’s straight-ahead look in New Super Mario Bros. to Mario’s triumphant jump, his fist held high and belly full of lasagna. These figurines are available individually and in complete sets. Because some figures are more rare than others, buying them in complete sets is definitely the recommended approach. Goldie Marketing delivers another winner with their Super Mario figurine series. This video review features video footage of Series 1 of Goldie Marketing’s Super Mario figurine set and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Giant Donkey Kong figure review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of the giant Donkey Kong figure from Goldie Marketing. Goldie Marketing sells countless Nintendo figurines, but if you have giant hands, your options are far more limited. Fortunately, they also make this bad boy. This massive Donkey Kong action figure stands 12 inches tall and is even wider. For most of us, that’s an impractically large toy perhaps better served as a display piece. For those of us with giant hands, it’s the perfectly sized miniature figurine. Unlike most Goldie toys, this Donkey Kong figure is the lone item in its series. There’s only one of these oversized Nintendo figurines, and it’s Donkey Kong. This toy was originally released exclusively to Toys ‘R Us. Although it’s technically a single-piece series, the Donkey Kong figure fits nicely alongside Goldie’s three-piece series of super-sized figures, which includes Mario, Luigi and Yoshi. It only makes sense Donkey Kong would tower over the others. He’s a massive girl-stealing ape! And now, he can be yours in an almost-real-life size. This video review features video footage of the giant Donkey Kong figure from Goldie Marketing and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Super Mario five-inch figures review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of the five-inch Super Mario figures from Goldie Marketing. As beautiful as Goldie Marketing’s lines of miniature Super Mario figures are, they’re too small to play with and are better served as collectibles. Goldie also has a line of super-sized figures, but those might be a little too big. That’s where their five-inch series fits so nicely—bigger than Goldie’s figurines, smaller than their super-sized figures. They’re just right! Like the super-sized figures, however, only one series of these five-inch figures has been released. It’s a five-piece set that includes Mario, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi and Donkey Kong, and their size and movable parts makes them Goldie’s most ideal Nintendo playthings. They’re extremely detailed and well made, like most of the Goldie lines, and make for excellent display pieces for diehard Nintendo fan and collectors. This video review features video footage of the five-inch Super Mario figures from Goldie Marketing and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Super Mario plush dolls review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of series 1 and 2 of the Super Mario plush dolls from Goldie Marketing. You certainly can’t say Goldie Marketing hasn’t taken advantage of their Nintendo license. The Australian company has flooded the market with quality Nintendo toys, and although most of their toys are plastic figures, they’ve also released several plush dolls. In this review, Classic Game Room’s Derek takes a look at a few dolls from their first two series of Super Mario plushies. Mario and Petey Piranha represent series 1, while a Koopa Troopa and Toad represent series 2. There are interesting differences between the two sets, however, as series 2 has a slightly higher quality than series 1. Even so, they’re both fantastic sets and more must-have Nintendo collectibles from Goldie Marketing. If you’ve already gotten all their figurines and would like a Mario toy to snuggle with, consult help. And then look into these plush dolls from Goldie Marketing, weirdo. This video review features video footage of series 1 and 2 of the Super Mario plush dolls from Goldie Marketing and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Tomy's Super Mario Galaxy figurine set review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Tomy's Super Mario Galaxy figurine set. He was already stomping Goombas and saving the princess. Just add defying gravity to Mario's to-do list, no big deal. And with this fun set of desktop figurines from toy maker Tomy, you can recreate Nintendo's amazing Wii game Super Mario Galaxy on your own desk! This set of five character figurines is sold in plastic capsules, which are popular in Japan, so you don't know which character you're getting until you open the ball. That is, unless you can judge the weight, which actually isn't difficult. The set includes Mario and his star friend Luma, as well as Bowser, a pair of Octoombas and the princesses Peach and Rosalina. Each figurine comes in pieces and requires some assembly, which is something parents should note. These toys include small pieces and might pose a choking risk for very young children. These figures are made with a clear attention to detail and are surprisingly well done, rivaling even the popular figurine lines from Goldie Marketing. This video review features video footage of Tomy's Super Mario Galaxy figurine set and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
