1). I don't need baptism because I trusted Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. Jesus said this, "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned." (Mark 16:16) In John 6:29, Jesus said faith was a work. "This is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he has sent." James 2:26 says " For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." We see in 1 John 3:18. "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth." So, not getting baptized into Jesus Christ, is to disbelieve Him. Paul connected faith and baptism. "For you are all sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." (Galatians 3:26-27) 2). The thief on the cross was forgiven, and didn't need to be baptized, so neither do I. First, nobody can say if he was baptized, that's unknown. The thief died in the Old Testament. And Jesus had power to forgive sins. Before His death Jesus directly granted forgiveness to some people (Mark 2:5-12; Luke 7:48-49; John 8:1-11). The thief is another such case. Second, and more importantly, baptism was not even instituted until the New Testament. Salvation in the New Testament is based on Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-7). Jesus did not give the Great Commission of Mark 16:15-17 and Matthew 28:18-20 which requires baptism, until much later. 3). Some, in wishing to deny the importance and purpose of baptism, claim that the original Greek word eis (which is found 1,750 times) in Acts 2:38 means "be baptized because you already have remission or forgiveness of sins." In Matthew 26:28, Jesus said His blood "is shed for many for the remission of sins." Did Jesus shed His blood because people already had forgiveness or in order that they might obtain it? For the last several centuries, English speakers have exclusively seen eis as looking forward and never backward. At least forty tran

Greek powerhouses Playmen and Damluke bring the tribal heat on big-room anthem ‘Serra’! Hailing straight out of the crystal-clear waters of Athens, Playmen have been steadily rising through the scene for several years, taking their captivating sets to Tomorrowland, Primer Festival and more, and now the duo are now joined by Damluke, a fellow Greek man and fresh talent at only 24 years old, for Generation Smash’s next release; ‘Serra’. ‘Serra’ takes on the prototype of stylistic, bombastic big-room and flips it on its head. Tribal-leaning tones and pounding beats gyrate to add oomph from the get-go before regal vocals merge with spacious yet immersive drum beats, as if ready for battle. Flitters of glockenspiel add another dimension before the rising synths and intergalactic bleeps wind it up to its climax. Worthy of peak-time festival plays and already drawing in support from label heads Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, ‘Serra’’s cultural elevation and unforgiving tempo is set to dominate this Summer and welcomes in Playmen and Damluke as two of the freshest names to come out of the Generation Smash camp this summer.

The Greek word exagorazo (Strong's Concordance #G1805), translated as "redeeming" in Ephesians and Colossians, means to rescue something from loss or redeem it. It can also mean to pay a price to recover (reclaim) something from another (Thayer's Greek Definitions). The words "redeem" and "redeeming" occur in at least 59 places in the King James Bible, with the overwhelming majority of uses found in the Old Testament. Additionally, in the KJV, the English word "time" appears in at least 563 verses. Interestingly, the apostle Paul uses the phrase in question at least twice in Scripture. In the book of Ephesians he states, "So then, take heed that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as those who are wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. For this reason, do not be foolish, but understanding what the will of the Lord is" (Ephesians 5:15 - 17) Paul admonishes us to redeem the time in our lives because "the days are evil," meaning that humans in general are under the rule and deceptions of Satan the devil (John 12:31, Ephesians 2:2, 6:12). He admonishes Christians to not idly sit by and let the darkness of this world dictate events but rather to make a conscious choice to do good works and let the light of God shine through them (Matthew 5:14 - 16). Even if evil personally comes upon us, we are commanded to not respond in kind but instead overcome it by doing what is right (Romans 12:20 - 21). What are some concrete examples of how Christians can redeem the time as God wants us to do? Some of the many things believers can do are as follows. We can do our Father's will (Ephesians 5:17). We can encourage other people in their Christian walk and selflessly serve them (Ephesians 5:18, 21, Galatians 6:10). We can meet with fellow believers in order to worship and praise the Eternal together (Ephesians 5:18). We can regularly thank God, through Christ, for his blessings and calling (verse 20). Additionally, we can redeem the time but not repaying evil for

A must see for any serious student of God's word. What is monotheism? What does it mean to believe in one God? What does history tell us about what the early New Testament church believed about the deity of Jesus Christ and the Oneness of the Godhead? As we will be discussing the Greek word "Logos" and what the concept meant before Jesus' day, during Jesus' day and after Jesus' day. We will also discuss what history tells us about what the first 4 generations of the New Testament church believed about the deity of Jesus in relation to the Godhead. Did the church start off believing in a Trinity concept of the Godhead, or did that come years later? Part two is called: Are There Distinctions in the Godhead by David Bernard, and is on this channel.

Most Christians believe in Oneness according to the latest survey and not a triad in unity, which contradict the very scriptures. A debate between David Bernard on the scriptural position of the one true God versus the trinitarian theory of three persons in a Godhead. The word trinity is not used anywhere in the Bible. The generally accepted teaching of traditional Christianity is that God is a trinity God in three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit (which is often called a “Ghost”). How did this “trinity” doctrine enter traditional Christianity? It most emphatically did not come from the Bible. Revelation 12:9 says that all nations have been deceived by Satan the devil. How, then, did the wily Satan introduce this doctrine into “Christianity”? Firstly, the early church came monotheism. Deut. 6:4, Exodus 30:5, and practically all of Isaiah speaks about the one true God. Nowhere inside the word is there a mention of God the son or God the Holy Spirit. The son of God was begotten at a certain time, just as God knew His elect before the world was created. The first person to coin the idea of a triad in unity was Tertullian, a greek lawyer in 200 AD. He admitted that the oneness of God Christians outnumbered him vastly at that time. As it would take many years and councils of men to finally change the minds of the general Christian popular. Another fact is the Justin Martyr in 165 changed the original baptismal formula of the Apostles from the Lord Jesus Christ to an extended version. His Exact words are as follows: "I baptize you in the name of the God the father and the Lord of all, and of our savior, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost". As he didn't Jesus was God the father, manifested in the flesh. Even as the Apostles Taught, that is the reason behind the change. Now Origen (Philosopher) and Tertullian (Lawyer) became believers via the teachings of Justin Martyr's, change the baptismal formula to just one verse of text as in Matthew 28:19, used by many false churchs

In this video, we are going to look at the introduction to the political science. We are going to answer two questions: 1) What is political science?; 2) what do we study in political sciences? So let us begin with the meaning of political science. The term “politics” is derived from the Greek word “Polis” which means the city-state. Hence political science deals with the problems of the city in which men live. THE DEFINITION OF POLITICAL SCIENCE. Political science has been defined by different prominent political philosophers in various ways. ARISTOTLE (384-322 BC). A great Greek political philosopher who is regarded as a father of political science because he was the first political thinker to use the word politics defined politics as “the study of the state. “ JAMES WILFORD GARNER (1871-1938) “Political science begins and ends with the state. It can be defined as the study of the man in the process of governing himself.” ACCORDING TO PAUL JANET (1823-1899), “Political science is the branch of social science which treats the foundations of the state and principles of government.” ACCORDING TO ROBERT NIVEN GILCHRIST. “Political science deals with the general problems of the state and government.” RICHARD GLENN GETTELL defined politics as “the study of the state in the past, present and future, of the political organizations and political function of political institutions and political theories.” HAROLD LASSWELL defined politics in empirical terms maintains that politics is the study of the shaping and sharing of power. The fundamental issue in politics according to him is who gets what, when and how. ” ACCORDING TO STEPHEN LEACOCK. “Political science deals with the government.” ACCORDING TO HAROLD LASKI. “The study of politics concerns itself with the life of man in relation to organized state.” So based on these definitions above given by different prominent political scholars, we can now define political science. Political science is an academic
