“When I moved to Kansas City I did not have a chiropractor so when the problems started reoccurring, I looked up in my insurance listing to find a doctor and Dr. Patterson was there, and I chose to come to him and see him initially. And because he was so wonderful and really very helpful and talked to me as if I was a person and not just a patient, I continued to come back to him. It was actually very easy to get in and come see Dr. Patterson. I called and I believe I was probably in the very next day. He’s always very willing to see me on very short notice. He’s also willing to see my husband on very short notice and I’ve referred several people to Dr. Patterson. He’s very willing to listen to the different complaints that I have and try to pinpoint what it is that he can do to help. I have neck pain that stems from several car accidents that I’ve been in, none of which were my fault by the way and also sports injuries. I’ve injured my back in playing soccer before and those are the injuries that I have to maintain because if I don’t see a chiropractor I tend to get pretty severe migraines. So Dr. Patterson makes sure that my back, and hips and neck were all in adjustment so that I am able to work and work out and play soccer and be active and not have to be held back by the migraines that I tend to get when I don’t go come to see him. Dr. Patterson also treats my vertigo, something that I thought I would have to go see my primary physician for, but he was able to work with it and treat it very effectively so I don’t have to take any medication and I can get on with my life within a matter of a couple of days. So I find that to be very helpful as well and we also discuss digestion issues, and Dr. Patterson is very knowledgeable about enzymes which is something that has been helpful to me as well, so he is really very well rounded and very willing to work with any issues I have.”

A 24-year-old man accused of bludgeoning his father to death was arrested early Wednesday morning in an apartment complex in University City. Police were called to the La Jolla Crossroads complex on Judicial Drive at Golden Haven Drive about 1:15 a.m. after receiving a frantic 911 call from a woman, homicide Lt. Ernie Herbert said. “She said her son had killed her husband,” Herbert said. Officers arrived about six minutes later and found the son in the hallway and 64-year-old Alexander Chivatchev dead inside the second-story apartment, Herbert said. Jail records identify the son as Nikola Chivatchev, who was booked early Wednesday morning on suspicion of murder. Darren Chaker, 37, was visiting his girlfriend at the multiunit apartment complex when he heard screams for help and called authorities. He flagged down an officer outside and they both went to the building, where they found the woman standing in the hallway wearing a white nightgown covered in blood. Her son was standing behind her, Chaker said. The officer asked, “Who did this?” The woman pointed at her son and the officer handcuffed him, Chaker said. The man said, “Yeah, I did it,” Chaker said. The mother was crying and asking, “Why? Why did you do this?” and the son answered, “Because he's an (expletive),” Chaker said. “He seemed very proud,” Chaker said. The man was wearing only blue boxer shorts and appeared enraged but not under the influence of anything, Chaker said. The witness said the woman's screams were echoing through the hallway, but no one came out or opened a door. Chaker said he held the woman's hand and told her he was sorry about what happened. She thanked him for helping and for coming to her aid, he said. Police have would not discuss a possible motive for the crime or what was used as a weapon. Herbert said the case is still in the early stages of investigation. *******www.signonsandiego****/news/2009/oct/07/san-diego-8212-24-year-old-man-accused/
