Part 2 of 2. The Classic Game Room GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR review! Rock out with your custom made characters and songs in this 2nd part of the GH World Tour review from Neversoft and published by Activision. CGRHD looks in depth at how you create your very own pet rock star from pre-existing templates. Create a rocker, pop star, goth, dark metal, classic rock or psychopathic nutcase. Design their faces, cheek bones, lips, eyes, hair and tattoos! You can make a tattoo that says CLASSIC GAME ROOM IS THE DOPEST VIDEO GAME REVIEW SHOW ON THE INTERNET and put it on their stomach for all the audience to see. Make hot chicks and pot smoking, alcoholic meatheads to play the music on stand with your band in Guitar Hero World Tour. The music creation software is extremely complex and allows you to create your own music and Guitar Hero songs to play and share with your friends. Is this Guitar Hero 4, Guitar Hero X or Guitar Hero Hyper Fighting Alpha Remix B-Spec.... It's GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR! Guitar Hero World Tour is available on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.
Part 1 of 2. Classic Game Room reviews GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR for the Xbox 360 video game console. It's the Eye of the Tiger of music based video games as far as we're concerned, this game is awesome! You can play guitar, bass, drums or sing the vocals. The set list and songs included in the games are incredible and feature Tool, Beastie Boys, Billy Idol, Filter, Bon Jovi, Wings, CCR, Survivor, 311, Blink-182, R.E.M., Van Halen, Metallica, Nirvana, No Doubt, Sting, Coldplay, Korn and many, many more. Sure we're missing AC/DC and Led Zeppelin but there's so many choice bands here that make this game a winner. Gameplay is similar to Guitar Hero 3 III and keeps most of what made GH3 a lot of fun, while adding all kinds of new features. More character interaction on stage, better backgrounds and concert settings and a complete character creation mode. Design male and female characters, give them crazy outfits, hair and face paint and more. You can rock out solo or party with your band. The original Guitar Hero characters like Midori and Lars are back as well. There is a song composition mode where you can create, record and edit your own music (we'll cover that in part 2). Anyway, whew! If you like Rock Band or the other Guitar Hero games you'll most likely dig this review of Guitar Hero World Tour from the Classic Game Room. CGR has been reviewing video games online since 1999 and is the authority on duct taping Nintendo Advantages to the Nintendo Wii. GH World Tour is available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 PS3 and Wii.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Guitar Hero: World Tour from Vicarious Visions and Activision for the Nintendo Wii. Guitar Hero: World Tour is also available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3. World Tour fleshes out the traditional Guitar Hero experience with the ability to play as a full band. Vocals, drums, bass and guitar are supported in World Tour, making it the first Guitar Hero to use the now-standard Rock Band formula. Despite the over-saturation of rhythm games, playing as a band with a bunch of friends is social gaming perfection, and that still applies to World Tour. This video review features video gameplay footage of Guitar Hero: World Tour for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
