Amazing waves produced by the hurricane Dean in the south coast of Dominican Republic. The hurricane was more than 140 miles south of the coast when I made this film.

Smoke rises seconds after the Hurricane came down in a field across the runway from the crowd line. I noticed it moments before it crashed, coming almost vertically down, and thinking it was going to pull up at the last minute. You can hear the shock in the commentator's voice and in the crowd in front of me. The commentator was in the middle of saying 'we'll give you as much information as we can, as soon as we can...'. Another Hurricane flies left to right near the end of the clip while another lands at the right. See the clip of the Spitfire 'missing man' formation which bravely took place only four minutes later
