THIS IS A MOCK! THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS FICTIONAL
3 Rivers Television, the company which began broadcasting to the North East of England in 1959, launched a new idents package in November 1999.
The idents used the same hearts endboard used by other ITV regions but altered the opening animations to give them a regional feel. This ident features Middlesbrough's famous Transporter Bridge.
By this time a lot of the ITV companies were being snapped up by Carlton and Granada but 3 Rivers remained completely independent.
