Classic Game Room reviews iDRACULA for iPod Touch and iPhone. This CGRHD review has iDRACULA gameplay footage recorded in high definition HD video showing iDRACULA game play in full i-awesome effect. This video game is reminiscent of the arcade masterpiece called ROBOTRON 2084. Like SMASH TV though, you pick up weapon and health upgrades like miniguns, flamethrowers and grenade launchers. Blast the undead, zombies, wolves and monsters into bits and earn high scores in the classic video game inspired iPod app called iDRACULA! It uses the iPod touch screen to act as Robotron-style controls where you drive with the left "stick" and shoot with the right. Excellent graphics, smooth motion and terriffic sound round out the package and make this one of the best iPod iTunes store app video games out there, iPod's own iDRACULA! I be blastin' muthatrucka's with iDRACULA in three different environments with four different gameplay modes. Look, it's this simple folks... do you have an iPhone or iPod touch? Do you like Robotron 2084 and Smash TV? If the answer to those questions is yes then buy this game at once. One of the best arcade style video games with old school spirit for the iPod. Classic Game Room reviews iPod games as an iPod reviewing reviewing iPod app video games like iDracula!
You are the hunter. Vampire hunter. Well, not quite. In fact, you are being hunted. Or you're just trying to survive a little more against the horde of Vampires, Werewolves, Witches and Dracula himself.

Classic Game Room HD reviews MINIGORE for iPod Touch and iPhone. This Robotron 2084 inspired frantic shooter uses the iDracula / Robotron touch screen dual stick controls and throws wave after wave of furry monsters at your hero. Blast them with a machine gun, shotgun and use traps. Watch out for the larger ones because they break into smaller threats. Fans of the genre will find enjoyment out of this fast paced shooter with excellent controls, although it could benefit from some diversity in enemies and weapons. Priced below one dollar, Minigore is seriously affordable blaster action for those who have already bested iDracula, Smash TV, Burn Zombie Burn and more. This CGRHD review of Minigore, published by Chillingo, has gameplay showing game play in Minigore, the shooter app video game for iPod. Minigore is available for download from iTunes for iPod Touch and iPhone.
Ancient Frog, Hysteria and Nikopol make up the news plus hands-on reviews of iDracula, Heavy Mach and Sway.

Classic Game Room HD reviews CIRCUIT_STRIKE.ONE for iPod Touch and iPhone, or just Circuit Strike One without the fancy spelling. Circuit Strike One for iPod is a video game app that has much in common with Geometry Wars Evolved mixed with the hacking scenes in Shirow Masamunes GHOST IN THE SHELL (the 2nd big comic book or the Stand Alone Complex). Use 3 different control schemes like Robotron style controls to pilot a space ship like thingy around the insides of networks, destroying barriers and systems and stuff like that. Watch out for enemies that try to shoot you and shake the iPod to slow down time briefly Circuit Strike 1 has gobs of style and impressive audio and video quality, but lacks in some critical areas. Controls are clumsy and the laser beam that you fire is practicly invisible in the sea of chaos on screen. Circuit Strike will find an enthusiastic audience looking for a challenging and stylish game, but it is not for casual gamers. CGR thinks it would be better suited for PS3 or XBLA download. For those Geometry Wars and Robotron fans seeking more challenge, check out Circuit Strike 1 for iPod. For those looking for pick up and play shooting we recommend Minigore or iDracula.
Classic Game Room reviews THE QUEST, a 3D RPG adventure game for the iPod which is like 1980's PC role playing games! DOPE! Published by Chillingo (same folks who published iDracula) and produced by Redshift, THE QUEST is a 5 1/4" floppy disc style masterpiece. Create your stereotypical RPG character, give them a name, choose from a variety of races, strap on some armor and weapons and then accept quests. Slaughter robbers, amazons, ogres, cyclops and skeletons. This game is friggin' hype. This CGRHD review of THE QUEST on iPod has gameplay footage recorded in HD from iPod Touch, The QUEST playes on iPhone and iPod Touch and is available for download from iTunes for a modest fee. The Classic Game Room character is ZAXZON and he's an undead who wants to massacre monsters, drink mash rum and beer and hook up with ladies. And you know what... it can all be done in The Quest. Fans of 1980's role playing games like Bard's Tale and Ultima will relish this game while younger gamers should find a compelling and complex game contained within your little iPod. Remember when we'd crash 286 computers with monster games like this that stretched across 5 floppy discs??? The iPod is awesome and the Quest is perfectly suited for it. Beware, it will suck your life away as you level up your character and drain the iPod battery in record time crunching all of the weather effects and 3D rendering. Whatever, QUEST-ahoy!
