The Magician's Handbook II: BlackLore review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The Magician's Handbook II from G5 Entertainment for the iPad. The Magician's Handbook II is pretty much a standard game of find the hidden stuff. You have a map with different areas, which you're exploring for the captured fairies. Sadly, you don't clap to save them. You can play with either the full story or an abbreviated version. You can also choose to play with a timer or without, which is a nice touch. Without the timer, the game has a relaxing quality that suits the genre well. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Magician's Handbook II: BlackLore for the iPad and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Golden Axe II review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Golden Axe II, developed and published by Sega for the Genesis. The sequel to the legendary Sega hack-and-slash, Golden Axe II returns with more of the same difficult gameplay and medieval fantasy elements as the three warriors Ax, Tyris, and Gilius fight their way through mythical monsters in search of Dark Guld, who is abusing the Golden Axe for his own evil purposes. Challenge the normal mode or see how long you can survive in The Duel. This video review features video gameplay footage of Golden Axe II for the Genesis and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Eric.

Jak II review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the Jak II remake, part of the Jak and Daxter Colletion from Naughty Dog and Sony for the PlayStation 3. Jak II is a similar kind of hybrid action platformer as the original, only with even more emphasis on the action and a "dark tone" that Derek finds silly. Case in point, Jak can hijack floating cars and shoot people. It's like Grand Theft Auto for furries. Jak II is more an open world, mission based action game than a platformer. You meet characters, accept missions and help an underground rebellion in this very seedy, Orwellian city. Speaking of which, that city looks really nice in HD. This video review features video gameplay footage of Jak II for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

This video review features video gameplay footage of PGA Tour Golf II and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Eric.
