Award-winning publisher, Wired Productions and accomplished independent developer Tomas Sala, are delighted to announce The Falconeer – an ocean-world fantasy aerial combat RPG. Combining classic dog fighting mechanics and acrobatic twists and turns with an awe-inspiring open environment and bestiary of fantastic enemies in land, sea, and air, The Falconeer is set to take flight in 2020. Set above The Great Ursee, prospective players can take their armed aerial mounts in third person to the skies as a Falconeer, an airborne warrior equipped with devastating ranged weaponry, to explore a bleak and hauntingly beautiful world, filled with wonderous locations and warmongering rival factions vying for the mysterious secrets hidden at the Ursee's unfathomable depths. “The moment we saw The Falconeer, Tomas’ passion and dedication stood out and we knew we wanted to bring it to the Wired family,” said Leo Zullo, Managing Director, Wired Productions. “The Falconeer’s stunning art style and ambitious design speak volumes about his individual talent as a developer and we’re delighted to be supporting The Falconeer to market.” "Building worlds is my passion, creating epic landscapes and hidden stories within… just waiting to be found. I want future Falconeers to fight for the Ursee world I’m creating, to risk everything in breathtaking battles to understand its secrets,” said Tomas Sala, the sole developer of The Falconeer. “I’m delighted to have joined forces with Wired Productions, to have secured the future survival of the Ursee and to join a line-up of stunning games with a publisher who understands my vision.”

Publisher Funcom and developer Mighty Kingdom announced today that the release of Conan Chop Chop, the action-adventure rogue like that was teased on April 1st and revealed at E3 this year, will be moved to Q1 2020. Following a very successful first demo of the game to press this summer, the companies have decided to increase their investment in the project to deliver a bigger and better game. Among the features to be implemented in the upcoming action-adventure roguelike is online multiplayer. “We had an absolute blast showcasing the game at E3 and Gamescom earlier this year. It was especially gratifying to see how much fun people had playing the game in co-op mode. The teamwork, the banter, the way people moved ever so sneakily towards their near-death companions in order to pick up their gold when they fall… We couldn’t have been happier with the reception,” says founder and CEO of Mighty Kingdom Philip Mayes. “One of the things we get to do with the extra time is expand multiplayer from just couch co-op to also include full online multiplayer,“ says Mayes. “This has undoubtedly been THE most requested feature after we started showing off the game, so we’re very excited for the opportunity to bring that in.” Conan Chop Chop is due to release in the first quarter of 2020 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch
