Boom! Watch that fire. Watch it, but please don't try and make it. Try and guess which effects are real, and which are fake. I bet you can't tell! VFX are great to learn and all, but nothing beats great practicals. This video proves that. We filmed in beautiful wintery Minnesota during 2009, as a culmination of tricks we have learned after tinkering for years.

Canʼt tell you how many times it took to make this work, but.... oh, wait, yes I can - ONE. Because I'm actually GOOD at Bike Hero. No closed roads, no CGI, no planted cars or joggers, no hidden cuts in camera moves. Just Dragonforce, a pair of wheels, and cojones the size of grapefruits. Some viral seeder account linked me to Bike Hero when it first was getting popular. Hah! They probably hoped I would pass it along and tell my friends about it, or make a response video and give it more attention! I bet they never thought I'd... ... ...wait a minute. This video owes its existence to Roadie Brandon Laatsch and Helmet Technician Matt Arnold.

The fretboard is done by recording the video feed simultaneously with another camera, and laying it on top with Adobe After Effects. Much respect to Roadies Josh Goldsmith and Brandon Laatsch, concert videographer Kevin Klauber, and of course Daniel Johnson.

Now you can finally see what we were working on in the Portal vid! Hope you enjoy what we've been chugging at here at our loft for the last three days! Also if you're a super nerd, Spectre gets four kills but he has Hardline equipped. That's why he can call in the Predator missile. Duhhhhh. Also no need to CG fake breath when you're filming at -20 degrees F Part II is actually coming! It's shot and we're working on post production now. Look for it in the near future. We are not authorized, nor affiliated in any way with Activision or Infinity Ward. Just some dudes with computers! My YouTube 101 Tutorial: *******www.youtube****/watch?v=8OnfLEDAcB4 Want to have your video HD and widescreen? Make sure your output is 720p, i.e. 1280x720. You're also going to want to compress it so you aren't uploading a huge file - use h.264 at 1500-2500 kbps. For more detailed instructions, click here: *******www.freddiew****/2008/12/31/how-to-make-hd-720p-widescreen-youtube-videos/ After you upload, be patient - YouTube needs time to process it before it throws up the "Watch in HD" link. I use Final Cut Pro and a smattering of After Effects when necessary. Music/Sound is Logic. But remember! The program doesn't make your movie for you - if you've got the fundamentals down, you could use iMovie on an old iMac and still rock faces. Stupid YouTube wanting to revert to 4:3 resolution. Sometimes you gotta use some FORCE. Featured in Hong Kong. That's because Hong Kong knows what's up. Chief Armoror Brandon Laatsch and Black Bar Wrangler Matt Arnold once again to the rescue for this one.

*******bit.ly/bearmovie is the IMDb page! *******www.youtube****/watch?v=7vXollIFnqg is the trailer! The reason why I hadn't uploaded stuff in a while was because I was busy producing (and being in a bear suit for) a honest to goodness feature film! It was tons of fun, and hopefully I'll continue doing projects like this. Meanwhile, the guys and I got the bear suit for a couple of days (designed by Chris Walas, the dude who made the Gremlins), so we decided to have a little fun with it. Rockin'! If you have any questions about the movie, or want to talk about it, please head over to the message boards for the film on IMDb: *******www.imdb****/title/tt1468703/board Thanks! Thanks to Chris Walas, Alicia Martinez, Sam Gorski, Niko Pueringer, and Brandon Laatsch for this one. Music is a little ditty I recorded with my friend Eugene Yi on violin and me on guitar called Kansas City Kitty. Also I am totally aware of what the slang meaning for bear is. Makes it awkward when I tell people I produced a "bear movie."

Hopefully we delivered this in a reasonable amount of time.
