Hope this will be a full version this time. Last one I uploaded was cut off for some reason. Learn Tagalog Today Episode 7,Compliments. In This Episode we will look at how to compliment someone or something. However, this is more of an indirect Compliment ,as we will be talking to someone else. Before we get into this episode, lets take a peek back at Episode 6,where we learned to greet people for the holidays. Saying things like Merry Christmas and Happy new Year. we also learned to say Happy Easter and a few other holiday Greetings. So, in that Lesson,we learned to greet someone with Merry Christmas and Happy new Year. But, if you wish to say this greeting ,and include the family of the person your talking to, this is how you would say it. Maligaying Pasko at Manigong Bagong Taon,Sa Iyo at Sa Iyong Pamilya. Sa Iyo means to you, while Sa Iyong Measn and your and Pamilya Means Family. so, Maligang Pasko at Manigong Bagong Taon,Sa Iyo at Sa Iyong Pamilya means ,Merry Christmas and Happy new year,to you and your family! Ok,so lets look at this compliment now. Lets assume for a moment, your at some sort of social event or something. You Like the Host's Outfit. your talking to your friend at the moment and wish to pay compliment to the Host's Outfit. In Tagalog,The conversation might go something like this. ko Imong Mga Outfit Pag Host. Ko means I or me. Imong means Thy. Mga is an article which means the. Pag Means support Pag when used as a conjunction means If when used as a Verb,it can mean Once or Whenever. Now,if taken separately, these words might be a bit confusing, but as a complete sentence, it actually means, I Love(or )Like the Host's Outfit. Ok, that is it for today's lesson. Hope you all learned something from this and liked it. If so, please help others learn a new language. Pass these lessons on to others.
