*******www.etrailer****/tv-Wiring-Install-2009-Nissan-Murano.aspx Videos are provided as a guide only. Refer to manufacturer installation instructions and specs for complete information. Today on this 2009 Nissan Murano we will be installing wiring harness part number 118481. Okay, we are inside the rear cargo area of the Murano here. And the connection points for our wiring harness are going to be located on the inside of the vehicle here. Behind the interior panels on both the driver and passenger sides. To gain access to these connection points we are going to need to do some removing of the interior portions of the vehicle. We need to remove the rear threshold plate here. There are three push pins here at the interior side of the threshold plate that we need to remove. We can do that by simply taking a flat head screwdriver and popping the middle piece up and that will allow the clip to release. From there we can just kind of gently rock back and forth on the threshold plate until the top clips up here release and we can set that side. Next we can remove the side compartments from the inside of the vehicle. There are two screws at the bottom that are holding it in place. We want to remove the passenger side one as well. Next we just need to remove the fasteners holding the interior side wall in. You can see we have got a tie down hook here that has got a screw in it. We can also remove this tie down here. This one is actually a push rivet. To release it we just want to pick a flat head screwdriver and kind of pry the cap back and that will allow the interior clip to release. And we can just pop it right off there. There is a few in board clips here as well holding it in place. You can get in there with a rivet popper or if you do not have that you could use like a flat head screwdriver to get in there. Pull away when you here the release. We want to remove the passenger side one as well. We just need to pull that back and up to gain access to the plug. If you look here wrapped in foam tape is our connecting point. What we do is just separate the two by pressing the little pad here at the top and you just disconnect the two. Next we can go ahead and take our harness and start plugging it into place. Over here on the driver side we want to take the connectors with the yellow and brown wires and plug it in line there. I am going to route the wires behind this junction block here. Again we can just plug the harness in line. You will note here on the driver side connector that we have a white wire with a ring terminal on it and this is our ground wire. What we need to do is find a metal surface to mount that to. The back side of the cargo area here is a nice flat surface right here that we can take our self tapping screw that is provided with our wiring harness and mount the ground wire to it. Okay, next we can take the longer lead, the red and green wires, and route it along this rear threshold area back here over to our passenger side where we are going to connect it behind the tail light assembly. Okay, then we can come back over here to the driver side. We are going to take the red wire here that is connected to our modulite box and we are going to connect it to the large black bundle of wire that is provided with our wiring kit. 04:18. What I am going to do is take and strip back a little bit of the jacketing here on the red wire and we will add a butt connector to it here. We just want to take and crimp that down. And then we will take one of the ends of the 12 gage black wire and connect it to that butt connector as well. Just take some electrical tape and tape that connector up. Next we want to go ahead and take and mount our modulite box to the interior of the vehicle here. And go ahead and adhere that. There is a little lip underneath the underside of where we mounted our brown screw there. I think we can go ahead and secure that there. Next I am going to go ahead and pop the grommet out. What you want to do is take and cut a little hole in the middle where we can that 12 gage black wire through. We will just take and feed it through the hole here. Pull the full length of the wire all the way through and down below. When you have all of the wire down below you can go ahead and re the grommet and then note that the 4-pole is left here. We can do one of two things with that as well. You can either actually enlarge the hole in the grommet there and route the 4-pole down through so that it can be stored underneath the vehicle. Or we could leave it here inside the vehicle and pull it our the rear hatch when we want to use it. I think that is what we are going to do here. I am just going to kind of set it off to the side while I reinstall the components here at the rear of the vehicle. We just want to make sure we zip tie up any loose wires that we may have left over. Now that we have got the cargo area reassembled we can go underneath the vehicle and go ahead and route our wire up to the battery. When routing the wire you just want to make sure you avoid any possible pinch points or hot spots that could damage the wire. Now that we have got the wire routed up under the hood we just need to go ahead and make our connection to the positive terminal of the battery. You can see we have got a cover here over the positive terminal. We can go ahead and remove that. You can see that we have got three different connection points that we can use. We are going to go ahead and use the rear most one here. Then next we are going to take our fuse holder that is provided with our wiring kit here. What we want to do is go ahead and cut the wire loop in half. On one end we are going to add the ring terminal here. I am just going to connect to the positive side of the battery. The other end we are going to strip back and a butt connector and we are going to connect it to the remaining portion of the 12 gage black wire here. Connect to the battery. And that will kind of give you a general idea of how much wire you can cut back with. And we will strip back a little bit of the jacketing again and make our connections to the butt connector. Okay and then we just want to take a little bit of electrical tape and wrap that connector up. Okay, and last but not least we just want to add the fuse to the fuse holder. That will conclude the installation of wiring harness part number 118481 on a 2009 Nissan Murano. 09:10

*******www.etrailer****/tv-hitch-install-2007-nissan-murano.aspx Videos are provided as a guide only. Refer to manufacturer installation instructions and specs for complete information. Today on this 2007 Nissan Murano we will be installing hitch part number 13571 from Curt. Okay we are underneath the vehicle, before we can get started we need to go ahead and lower the exhaust off its hangers and get it out of the way. There are four main hangers that we are going to need to lower the exhaust off of. Over here on the drivers side we have two, these two can simply be pulled off their hangers. It may help to use a spray lubricant like WD-40, to spray the studs down first, it will make the removal way easier. On the passenger side we will be removing it off the hanger here on the outboard side of the frame rail. This one will need to be unbolted. And then here at the middle of the exhaust on the forward side we need to remove it off of this fourth hanger, which again can be unbolted from the frame. Before we do so we need to make sure we support the exhaust tube with a strap or a bungee cord, something that will support the beam. Because once we remove this final hanger the exhaust will want to fall down and it could damage your system if not properly supported. Okay now that we have the exhaust lowered we can go ahead and remove the tow hook from the drivers side frame rail. There are four bolts holding the tow hook onto the frame. Now that we have the tow hook removed I am going to go ahead and point out the three attaching points here on the drivers side. And over here on the passenger side we are just going to be using the two rear most weld nuts here at the bottom of the frame. Okay with those pointed out we can go ahead and put the hitch up in position. We are going to be using the 12 millimeter bolts along with the conical tooth washers. And for the forward most attaching point here on the drivers side we will be using the 10 millimeter bolt with the conical tooth washer. And now that we have all the bolts in place we can go ahead and torque the bolts down. You want to check with the directions to verify the appropriate torque rating for each individual bolt. And with all the bolts torqued down we just want to put the exhaust back up on its hangers and our installation will be complete. And that will conclude the installation of hitch part number 13571 on a 2007 Nissan Murano.

*******www.etrailer****/tv-Hitch-Install-2009-Nissan-Murano-Curt.aspx Videos are provided as a guide only. Refer to manufacturer installation instructions and specs for complete information. Today on this 2009 Nissan Murano we will be installing Curt hitch, part number 13577. Okay we are underneath the vehicle and the first thing we want to go ahead and do is lower the exhaust and get it out of our way. There are four hangers on the exhaust that we need to lower down. There are two here on the drivers side, one here on the passengers side, and one in the middle at the forward side. I am going to go ahead and spray the studs down with a spray lubricant like a WD-40. And you can take a pry bar or a pair of pliers and remove the rubber hanger from the stud. Here at the rear I am going to go ahead and support the middle tube of the exhaust system, because once you remove it off of all four hangers the exhaust will down and could possibly damage the system. I am going to take a basic ratchet strap, you can use a bungee cord or some rope if you would like, and just basically route it across. Just enough to support the middle bar again. Okay next over here on the drivers side we want to remove the tow hook. There are four bolts holding the tow hook onto the frame that we need to remove. With the tow hook removed you can see on the drivers side frame rail that we have multiple weld nuts here at the bottom of the frame. We are going to be using this one here and this one here. And we are going to attach the hitch using the new 12 millimeter hardware that is provided with the installation kit. And then here, at the third attaching point, we are going to be reusing one of the bolts that was holding the tow hook in place. Over on the passengers side you will see there are just two weld nuts here at the bottom of the frame. Again, these two weld nuts will be using the new 12 millimeter hardware that is provided with our installation kit. Now that we have those pointed out we can go ahead and mount the hitch up into place. Now that we have the hardware in up into place we can torque our bolts down. You want to check with the directions to verify the appropriate torque rating for each individual bolt. Okay with all the bolts torqued down you want to put the exhaust back up on its hangers and our installation will be complete. And with that, that will conclude the installation of Curt hitch part number 13577 on a 2009 Nissan Murano.
