Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies for Nintendo 3DS developed and published by Capcom. After a five-year recess, court is once again in session. Representing the defendants in these cases are the members of the Wright Anything Agency, prepared to put in their own legwork in investigating crime scenes, speaking to witnessess, and stomaching an absurd cast of characters. Once in the trial, though, logic rules the day as witnesses are brought before the court, their testimonies are heard and cross-examined, and evidence presented to refute their claims. This video review features video gameplay footage of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies for Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Sonic Lost World review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Sonic Lost World for the Nintendo Wii U developed by Sonic Team and published by SEGA. Sonic is back in his very first Wii U game! Released exclusively to Nintendo platforms, Sonic Lost World is an interesting game that combines SEGA’s iconic hedgehog with Nintendo’s Super Mario Galaxy. The game’s levels are similar to Galaxy’s planetoids, offering players individual floating level sections that Sonic must bounce between. It’s a unique blend of Sonic’s 3D and 2D elements, thrown together into a Sonic game unlike any other. The gameplay feels a tad slower this time, as well, as Sonic Lost World places more of a focus on platforming and exploration. Don’t get the wrong idea, though—you still blast around like a fuzzy blue pinball. Sonic Lost World features local multiplayer and is also available on the Nintendo 3DS. This video review features video gameplay footage of Sonic Lost World for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl for Nintendo 3DS developed and published by Atlus. Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl goes back over the original Etrian Odyssey with a new coat of paint, and many of the technical advancements that came with the series' move to the 3DS with Etrian Odyssey IV. Streetpass tags and mechanical upgrades have been added, though the story remains... kinda the same. Kinda. Instead of assembling your own team of heroes to investigate the Yggdrasil Labyrinth, there's a new wrinkle to the plot as your party literally fall out of the sky to meet you... or, in one case, are awakened from a long stasis in a strange high-tech ruin. That is, if you so desire. You're completely welcome to tell this new cast of characters to take a hike and just play Etrian Odyssey the way it was meant to be played: As customizable as possible. This video review features video gameplay footage of Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl for Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS developed by Nintendo EAD 3 and Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds takes up the herculean task of continuing the story set forth in the beloved 1992 classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It takes the same world, same locations, and many of the same characters (or their descendants) on a new quest, bouncing between the realms of Hyrule and Lorule (and yes, that pun is as bad as you think it is). This Link ditches his mundane job as the blacksmith's apprentice to fulfill his destiny of collecting (or simply renting) various tools and magical implements, trekking through dungeons, and being really, really thin when it suits him. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square Enix. An entry in the long-running Dragon Quest video game series, it was released in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation 4 in July 2017, and worldwide for the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows in September 2018. An enhanced port for the Nintendo Switch, titled Dragon Quest XI S, will also be released in late 2019. While many critics considered Dragon Quest XI to be the best entry in the series, as well as one of the best contemporary JRPGs overall, many others had criticism over its overly traditional design. By November 2018, the game had shipped over four million copies worldwide. Dragon Quest XI continues the gameplay of previous games in the series, in which players explore worlds and fight against various monsters, including the ability to explore high areas. The Nintendo 3DS version features a different style to the other versions, showcasing 3D graphics on the top screen and 16-bit styled sprites on the bottom screen. Before entering battle, players can also toggle between the 3D and 2D graphical styles at any time. Like with Dragon Quest IX, on land the game's battle system features no random encounters and shows all enemies on the overworld. The battle system also adds a free-form camera option inspired by the MMORPG Dragon Quest X that allows players to move around the enclosed battlefield, although it is purely visual and provides no other benefits to gameplay.
