I've got this terrible weakness: tell me a game is silly and looks like cut paper and I'm there. I've wasted many a dollar and lots of time on some really adorable and really terrible games without much substance, so I was a little wary of Patchwork Heroes. Sure, it looked phenomenal visually, but would the gameplay be up to par? Luckily, this little action puzzler delivers.
Patchwork Heroes review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Patchwork Heroes for Playstation Portable developed by Acquire and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Patchwork Heroes is a game unlike any other. The player takes control of a group of heroes who set out to save their own from attacking airships. The way they do this is a little unconventional. They jump onto the side of the airships and systematically hack pieces of the airship away. The airships have defenses so you have to be aware of your groups and attacks or you will lose your team members. The levels are simple at first but become quite complicated, having you plan your route in advance. There are also challenge levels and time attacks to keep this highly original game feeling fresh and different. This video review features video gameplay footage of Patchwork Heroes for Playstation Portable and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.
