When you ask Howard Ulene to sum up what it's like to live with Alzheimer's disease there's no hesitation. Howard Ulene, Alzheimer's disease patient, drug trial participant: "In one word, forgetfulness and in many words forgetfulness." Once a savvy businessman, Howard Ulene is now using his entrepreneurial spirit to battle the disease. Howard Ulene, Alzheimer's disease patient, drug trial participant: "What you have to do is get over the fear and be very maudlin and poignant about it and then say I’m going to beat you SOB because I simply won’t except this limited life." About two years ago Howard joined a clinical drug trial for Alzheimer's disease. The drug he received, now known as Flurizan, has just entered phase three of the drug trial. Sam Gandy, M.D., Alzheimer's Association: "Making it to phase three is really unprecedented and these are medicines the likes of which we've never seen before. I think the chances of hitting something successful in the next five years are very good." There are nine new Alzheimer's treatments in phase three trials-the final step before FDA approval. All offering hope to either slow down or prevent the onset of Alzheimer's. Sam Gandy, M.D., Alzheimer's Association: "There are several steps leading from the beginning of the disease to what we see clinically, and what we hope to do is aim a different bullet, aim a different medicine at each of those steps." For Howard, the improvement from taking Flurizan has been tremendous. Art Ulene, M.D., brother: "His results in this clinical trial have been absolutely stunning. I got my brother back. I got the guy I knew as my brother back, he’s not perfect, but the old Howard is back and now able to communicate." As with any phase three trial, the results aren't final until the study ends and data are analyzed. I'm Mary Norton reporting.

Hair transplant patient "NicNitro" had 10,407 grafts in 2 sessions with Dr. Hasson. His first session at over 6,000 grafts provided awesome results, but because NicNitro had above average donor density and laxity, another big session was possible. The results are jaw-dropping.

This is an example of how you can easily transfer a patient out of car with Rino 450 lift from RoMedic. You can do this with a Rino 600 lb capable lift as well. The exciting thing is both of these lifts can be used for regular patient transfers too. This is not a lift built specifically for car transfers anly for car transfers. You don't have to modify the car or lay the persons seat back or anything. It also has worked with every type of car we've tried on so far. Please go to www.romedic**** to see more.

Rarely do I put something on my site that I didn't create. With this being said, the video to your left is probably going to make you pretty angry. Are people seriously this messed up, or are they just that dang stupid? Dieing Patient Story The person that collapsed was 49 year old Esmin Green. After being in a New York City Hospital waiting room for more than a day Esmin collapsed right out of her chair. Many people including hospital employees walked right by her, but nobody cared to check to see if she was okay. As a result, 6 people were fired. Are people this stupid? Could you seriously not tell the lady was dieing. For goodness sake, what is the world coming to? An old lady falls out of her chair, isn't breathing, and isn't moving... Hmm. This is simply ridiculous. Source: AOL News
