How to Treat Eye Problems in Pugs Pugs are adorable little dogs with big personalities and large eyes. But these recognizable large eyes can develop a variety of problems. While not all pugs develop eye problems, they are prone to developing cataracts, cherry eye, dry eye, and other issues. Since the signs of several eye problems are so similar, remember that it's important to take your pug to the vet for a diagnosis and proper treatment. 1 Watch for milky eyes. The lens of your pug's eye might seem cloudy and bluish-gray. Eventually, the cataract covering the lens can cause your dog to lose his vision. The cataract might look crackly or like a chip of ice. Cataracts form either due to genetic predisposition, trauma, diabetes or other diseases.

*******www.TakeBackYourHealth**** Inflammation and Pain Premature menopause occurs before the age of 40. Possible causes include a genetic predisposition and autoim¬mune disorders, in which antibodies are produced that can damage a number of glands, including the ovaries. Smoking has also been known to cause menopause. Artificial menopause results from medical intervention that reduces or stops hormone secretion by the ovaries. These interventions include surgery to remove the ovaries or reduce their blood supply, and chemotherapy or radiation therapy to the pelvis to treat cancer. Surgery to remove the uterus (hysterectomy) ends menstrual periods, but it does not affect hormone levels as long as the ovaries are intact, and therefore should not cause menopause. Nutritional needs become an important focus for meno¬pausal women. The changes in the body's metabolic capa¬bility, hormonal structure, digestive capabilities, and just the aging factor cannot be stopped, but can be addressed to support the optimal nutritional potential available to keep a woman at peak performance. Recommendations include incorporating a well-balanced diet, stress management, rest, regular exercise, in addition to dietary, glandular/hormonal and immune system support. Systemic Enzyme

With the launch of several companion diagnostics over the past year, we have officially entered the personalized medicine era. These diagnostics and follow-on therapeutics utilize molecular analysis technologies to diagnose and manage a patient's disease or predisposition towards a disease. The ultimate goal is to prescribe a therapeutic plan tailored to an individual's genetics and environmental profile. While revenues from companion diagnostics are just starting to trickle in, the push towards personalized medicine is driving several markets along the pipeline of drug discovery. From "bench to bedside," this healthcare trend continues to spur basic research technologies, biomarker discovery, pharmacogenomics services, and of course, companion diagnostics and therapeutics. *******www.panicattacksdisorder****/lin ... hod-review What is the definition of a panic attack? What can you observe when you are in an anxiety attack? What causes panic attacks? Those are only a handful of the questions that run through the mind of a person who have seen someone in a panic attack. Just before you become anxious because of these unanswered questions, I will discuss all of them in this article. A panic attack is an anxiety that is raised to an unimaginable level that it starts to manifest physically. It is usually sudden and comes without warning. A very frightening experience, especially for those who have just recently started having panic attacks. The symptoms of a panic attack are pretty much comparable to the symptoms of a cardiac arrest. Only that in a panic attack, chest pain is not observed. Your heart beat will begin to beat faster and stronger while your breathing becomes a little erratic because your lung muscles fail to contract effectively. Why do people have panic attacks? A question that has been left with no clear answers yet. However, there is a very strong linkage between panic attacks and stress. Although specialists and researchers have presented many other triggering factors for the attack, stress is still the leading cause. That is correct, stress. Individuals who are faced with a lot of stressful situations in their everyday lifestyle are at high risk for a panic attack. We are all aware that stress is one of the leading causes of many of known conditions, like cancer; and panic attack was not spared. That is because stress can activate the release of a very potent toxin that wears the body down. If stress levels are always high, it will definitely take a toll on your health. In conclusion, stress is the main reason for having a panic attack. Some other causative factors are heredity and drugs. There is no strong proof for the genetic predisposition to panic attacks, but it has been observed with a significant number of people. Those are only some of what causes panic attacks. Many other factors are observed in some panic attack sufferers; and many others are still discovered up to present. Keep reading about this dreaded disorder because it changes and evolves every day. Bunions are usually caused by a genetically inherited malfunction within the foot's structure. The actual bunion itself is not inherited, but particular foot types are what give patients this predisposition to bunion development. Although wearing constraining footwear that cause the toes to crowd together won't be the original cause of the bunions, it can make the affliction progressively worse. This means you will experience the symptoms much quicker. Bunions will often respond well to more conservative treatment such as a change in footwear, different orthotics, ice, rest, and medications. However, these treatments only address symptoms, and don't actually correct the deformity. Dr. Mechanik will work with you to assess the severity of your condition and determine whether surgery will be necessary. Colorado Foot Institute Can Help You In This Matter *******coloradofootinstitute****/bunions.html As director of the Colorado Foot Institute, Dr. Mechanik is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Board Certified in Reconstructive Rear Foot and Ankle surgery.
