I couldn’t make it out tonight to see Gary Vaynerchuk speak but someone shared video. It turns out there was a snafu with who was supposed to pay the bar owners or something like that, so Gary, being the hustler he is, invites everyone outside and delivers a great keynote on social media and opportunity in the coming months. I recognize some people from Mashable and Affiliate Summit in the audience. For those that don’t know him, he’s build a 50 million dollar wine business and is an intuitive genius in video , social media, and internet marketing. I do disagree that advertisers just want eyeballs as he says. I’ve been inside advertising campaign war rooms and they are looking for a lot more. He does offer some good knowledge and motivation for anyone looking to get their brand out there.

Brian Marshall grew up competing in local tournaments that were held by the Dallas Tennis Association and state tournament events held by the Texas Tennis Association that allowed him to earn a junior ranking as high as number 1 in his age division. Playing tennis in Dallas was a highly competitive arena where he grew up with his brother Jason who is now the assistant head coach at TCU. The amount of instruction they had both received was incredible and was fortunate enough to carry it all with them to today. Brian Marshall has been taught by tennis legends Rick Maci, Dick Stocton, Dennis Van Der Mer, Dennis Rolston, Mike Estep, Stan Smith, Jay Dilouie and some of the most recognized members of the Dallas Professional Tennis Association through out his youth. He has received some of the best instruction that exists in the sport and now implements it into his personal teachings today. Growing up right down the street from TBARM racket club made it very convenient for him to play as his parents were joined members and still are to this day. It was as simple as hopping on the bike and peddling to the club to go practice everyday. The racket club became his second home with out a bed. In the beginning stages of the sport Brian and his brother would head to different tennis courts in Dallas sports & recreation. During this early stage they made friends with various competitors who teach locally such as Pysan Yenchi who now works at the Four Season Resort and Club to international professional tennis player Andy Roddick. A large part of his youth were trained on the Dallas Parks ranging from Samuel-Grand tennis center and Fretz where they had a large amount of students in the public programs who would grow up along side of him. Practicing six days a week is what it took to maintain. Anything less would get you behind. Brian has played at every tennis facility in Dallas such as Northwood Country Club with his first private lesson given by David Redding and years later by which is favorite tennis coach of all time and most knowledgeable Max Fabiani, which made it convenient because Northwood was in his back yard on the eighteenth hole. Instruction was learned at L.B. Houston Tennis Center where another one of his friends from his youth teaches today. The majority of his junior training was received at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas where is his parent were members as there as well. Since juniors Brian Has taught at Seay Tennis Center and SMU as well as the Jewish Community Tennis Center as well as Coppell Park and Recreation, and is currently teaching at Buffalo Creek Country Club in Rockwall Texas where he organizes an adult recreational sports program that is geared to meet singles into tennis program, junior development, mens league, beginners, ladies drills and private lessons. Boyer Retires Following Distinguished 18-Year Tenure It's official... AOPA President Phil Boyer will retire in just a few weeks and as ANN FIRST reported, experienced Washington political insider Craig L. Fuller will take the helm of the influential 415,000-member pilots association. AOPA Board Chairman Bill Trimble noted that, "Starting last year to find AOPA's next leader, a Board of Trustees search committee hired national search firm Heidrick & Struggles to help identify final candidates from among 597,000 US pilots. After hundreds of interviews and painstaking review of 100 potential candidates, it was clear that Craig Fuller, a recognized leader in business, public affairs and association management, would be ideally suited to carry-on Phil's tremendous legacy. "Craig is a committed 40-year pilot, aircraft owner and AOPA member," added Trimble. "He is as comfortable with fellow pilots and 'hangar talk' as he is facing a Congressional committee." Fuller left his native California in 1981 to be Assistant to the President for Cabinet Affairs in the Reagan White House. In 1985, he became chief of staff for Vice President George H.W. Bush, traveling with the vice president to every state and 60 nations overseas. Later, after working with international public affairs organizations in Washington and Philip Morris Companies Inc. in New York, he became president and CEO of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) linking retailers, manufacturers and suppliers in that industry. He will be leaving his current post as executive vice-president at global public affairs and strategic communications company APCO Worldwide in Washington to become AOPA president. Fuller learned to fly at Buchanan Field in Concord, CA while still in high school and flew with the UCLA flying club at Van Nuys while earning a B.A. in political science. He has a Master's degree in urban studies from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where business travel in his early public affairs career fostered purchase of a Cessna 172RG Cutlass based at Santa Monica. He now logs 200+ hours a year in his Beech Bonanza A36. He is a director of the US Chamber of Commerce, active in The Aspen Institute and a former trustee of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the George (H.W.) Bush Presidential Library Foundation. He and wife Karen reside in Northern Virginia just outside Washington, DC. "Being selected by the Trustees as only the fourth president of AOPA in 70 years is a tremendous honor and a serious responsibility," said Fuller. "I am fully dedicated to ensuring that the best days of general aviation remain ahead of us. And AOPA is ready with a strong organization bolstered over two challenging decades by an individual we all admire." "Moreover, he facilitated general aviation's return to the skies following a long post-9/11 grounding by talking sense -- and common-sense cooperative programs -- with lawmakers and security officials." "I have often mentioned that this day would come, on schedule, as planned with my family and the AOPA Board of Trustees," said Phil Boyer. "...I am delighted Craig will captain AOPA on the 'next leg' of this remarkable journey to preserve and advance general aviation." Fuller is to take office on January 1, 2009, following formal election at the Trustees' September Annual Meeting of Members. *******www.instablogs****/ Sudanese President lashes out at France The Sudanese president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir lashed out at Western countries and accused them of trying to topple his regime during the last 20 years. France, the UK and the USA were particularly targeted. Al-Bashir told his people not to worry about a pending arrest warrant against him by the International Criminal Court (ICC). It contains three counts of genocide, five of crimes against humanity and two of murder. "Money and ruling is not in the hands of US, France & UK. They are all underneath my shoes" he said angrily. The strong statements by Al-Bashir may signal his frustration with his envoys failure to convince these countries to suspend the ICC move against him. Fuel shortage leaves Gaza in dark Gaza has gone in the dark yesterday evening due to the industrial fuel shortage. This fuel is supplied to the only power plant in Gaza by the Israeli side through Nahl Oz fuel crossing point. This has led to a drop in power plant operational capacity by 40 percent and produce only 25 -30 MW of the 85 -120 MW Obama to reverse several bush directives There's a lot that the new president elect can do using his executive authority to review, revert, repeal or amend. Bush administration’s policies on stem cell research, climate change and birth control have raised enough storms in the past. Mr. Obama’s speeches related to the above mentioned issues have generated hopes. During the campaign Mr Obama indicated that we wanted to end limits on stem cell research, which the scientific community has claimed has hampered the effort to combat a range of diseases. This including the possible lifting of a ban that prevents international family planning organisations from advising women about the possibility of abortion and in some cases discouraging common contraceptive methods should be a definite breather. In the end, Barack Obama must use his executive power to not only recognize the existence of the problem but also initiate effective steps to battle the problem. *******www.oginski-law**** Learn why insurance companies love to deal and negotiate with inexperienced accident victims. It's a perfect way for them to save thousands of dollars in claims. The accident victim without experience to negotiate their case does not yet recognize what permanent injuries they may have suffered; they may not realize what medical expenses they will incur in the future; they may not have enough information to compare their injuries with someone who had similar injuries in the same town or county where they live. As a result, the insurance companies will often take advantage of an injury victim. Learn why it is so important to have an experienced New York accident attorney to evaluate & negotiate your accident claim. How to make a cheap lucid dream mask, control your dreams, using two LEDs and a pair of goggles. A lucid dream is a dream in which the person is aware they are dreaming while the dream is in progress, and the dreamer experiences a self awareness journey of bliss or adventure, where the weird dream becomes lifelike and real, with the dreamer fully aware of the dream (although not always) and with the power to control all that he sees and can do, also known as a conscious dream. When the dreamer is in a lucid dream state (rem or rems), rapid eye movement sleep, normally with use of a mask or REM goggles, they can actively participate in and often manipulate the imaginary experiences in the dream environment. Lucid dreaming has a potential for wild adventure and fantasy such as flying. Many people have said that their first lucid dream was the most wonderful experience of their lives. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid just like virtual reality, whether real or just an illusion. A lucid dream can begin in one of two ways. A dream-initiated lucid dream starts as a normal dream, and the dreamer eventually concludes that they are dreaming, while a wake-initiated lucid dream occurs when the dreamer goes from a normal waking state directly into a dream state with no apparent lapse in consciousness. Lucid dreaming has been researched scientifically. Lucid dreamers who perform wake-initiated lucid dreams reported experiences consistent with the aspects of out-of-body experiences such as floating above their beds and the feeling of leaving their bodies, a really weird experience during the rem cycle often called OOBe or Obe. Dreamers actually think that they have left their body and are looking down on their own body as some type of empty shell. Due to the phenomenological overlap between lucid dreams, oobe experiences, and out-of-body experiences, researchers say they believe a protocol could be developed to induce a lucid dream. People often wonder how to have a lucid dream. Lucid dream masks are available but expensive. The DIY home made lucid dreaming rem sleep mask are very cheap, although not as effective in the beginning. The more quality dream masks have a rem detection device, so that the lights and sound start working only when the dreamer has entered the rem state of dreaming. And another ucid dreaming state technique is used to induce a lucid dream at will by setting an intention, while falling asleep, to remember to recognize that one is dreaming by setting cues, or to remember to look for dream signs when one is in a dream. A key element in this type of lucid dreaming is reviewing in memory the dream from which one has just awoken. When a point is reached in the dream at which an obvious dream sign occurred individuals performing this technique depart from actual memory and instead imagine they became aware they were dreaming. By increasing the levels of Acetylcholine, Serotonin, and Dopamine a dreamer can significantly influence dream vividness, memory, clarity, rem awareness and mood. Enhancing these mental states during REM sleep significantly increases the odds of inducing a lucid dream state…How to have a lucid dream, Reality testing is a common method used by people to determine whether or not they are dreaming or in a dream lucid state. It involves performing an action that will normally have results that will be different if the tester is dreaming. By practicing these tests during waking life, one may eventually decide to perform such a test while dreaming, which may fail and let the dreamer realize that they are dreaming.eg. Looking into a mirror; in lucid dreams, reflections from the mirror often appear weird freaky strange, blurred, distorted, incorrect or someone else.Pinching your nose and if you are able to breathe without using your mouth, then you know that you are in a lucid dream. Looking at one's hands. Looking at a clock or wrist watch or digital watch, after looking away the time often changes dramatically, weird things happen, As with text, the time will probably have changed randomly and radically at the second glance or contain strange letters and characters.
