Learn how to make Vegetable pulav has a mix of vegetables and spices. This is a great dish for get-togethers, especially for lunch. If you are not in the mood to prepare a big meal, use vegetable pulav as a one-dish meal with yogurt, pickle, papadam or chutney.
1 cup basmati or long grain rice
2 cups water
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 medium sized potato, chopped into 1/2″ cubes
1 carrot, chopped
1 cup cauliflower, cut into small pieces
1 cup frozen green peas
1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
2 long sliced green peppers
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons minced cilantro

* 150 g. sliced chicken breast
* 2 tbsp cooking oil (Soya Bean)
* 1-2 tbsp Thai green curry paste (This is what makes it spicy)
* ½ cup coconut cream
* 1 cup coconut milk
* 1 cup pea eggplant (eggplant cubed into small pieces will do)
* 5 kaffir leaves stem removed and torn
* 2 tbsp Thai fish sauce * 1 tsp sugar
* Handful sweet basil leaves
* 1-2 long red chilies diagonally sliced (red bell pepper will do)
Heat the oil in a sauce pan over medium heat and add Thai green curry paste, stir regularly to prevent the paste from burning. Add coconut cream, chicken and cook until fragrant. Bring to a low boil then add eggplant, kaffir lime leaves, fish sauce, sugar then coconut milk. Simmer until chicken is cooked then turn remove from stove and transfer into serving bowl. Garnish with sweet basil leaves.
This is a wonderful recipe for Raw Vegan Pasta. It contains two tomatoes, one cucumber, one red bell pepper, one avocado, two teaspoons of oregano, one to two teaspoons of basil, one half teaspoon of sea salt and one teaspoon of cumin.
