MUSIC: REACHING THE HEART IN MORE WAYS THAN EXPECTED
How can we make a difference when we have very little to give?
With so many charities available, and the all too familiar phrase “In this economy”, It seems difficult to think about donating to another cause. During these difficult times, we often find ourselves focused on personal needs, but we still need to reach out to help others.
Stop and think of that military family you personally know that has made a sacrifice for your freedom. With soldiers returning home from overseas, we see a glimmer of hope and hear wonderful stories from our media, but many stories don’t get published. Many stories go untold. Many needs of our soldiers and their families have not been met.
Operation Homefront has been taking on this issue since 2002 by providing emergency financial and other assistance to families of service members and wounded warriors.
Realizing the freedom to pursue their dream as musicians and songwriters, the Sons of Alice have partnered with Operation Homefront in the hopes that their music will touch hearts in more ways than expected. With the release of their single, “They Believed”, everyone who downloads the song helps a soldier. All the proceeds of every single download will be donated to Operation Homefront.
The Sons of Alice have set a target goal of 100,000 downloads.
So simply put, you can make a difference- one download at a time.
Watch the video, listen to the song, and download.
When your download is finished, pass the link on to a friend to help us reach our target goal and help meet a need of a military family.
