Final Fantasy VII PS1 Vs. PC Comparison. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow feature: Final Fantasy VII PS1 Vs. PC Comparison. So I realized, I could just yammer on into the intertubes about the differences between the original and the new PC version of Final Fantasy VII, or I could fire up the ol' capture-mabob and just show you directly. Here, then, is the fruit of that labor: Side-by-side comparison of the two versions, with running commentary (and threats) by yours truly. This video review features video gameplay footage of Final Fantasy VII PS1 Vs. PC Comparison and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
Final Fantasy VII review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Final Fantasy VII for PC. I finally get to do a proper review of Final Fantasy VII, and it's... a port of the PC version? With the weird re-translation (that still misses a bunch of mistakes) and mouths... those mouths. Ugggh. Anyway, it's still FFVII, with all the materia-swapping, chocobo-breeding, limit-breaking action you remember, now with... Facebook integration. There's some line about "not wanting this" that I'm struggling to come up with, but I can't, because I'm too busy trying to get this jaded, cynical mercenary to wear a dress. Poo, uh, I mean, sir... This video review features video gameplay footage of Final Fantasy VII for PC and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for Nintendo GameCube. Square and Nintendo couldn't stay apart forever. In 2003, they reconciled and produced one of the most unique titles on the GameCube: a four-player action-RPG, with each player holding a miniature display screen in their own hands. Granted, this requires four Game Boy Advance units and four GameCube-GBA link cables, but it's a small price to pay for one of the most stunningly beautiful, most unique, and most underrated Final Fantasy games in the series' history. Also, moogles. This video review features video gameplay footage of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for Nintendo 3DS. Disney and Narcolepsy and action-RPG mechanics have never been so fun! At least, if you have a Circle Pad Pro. Otherwise, Disney and Narcolepsy and action-RPG mechanics have never had to struggle against such a camera! Sora and Riku (not Rikku, huge difference, wouldn't want to see the former in a bikini) are off on a quest to become Keyblade Masters, because apparently their trials and tribulations throughout the series weren't enough. Of course. This video review features video gameplay footage of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for 3DS with Kinect and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Featuring Ni no Kuni (PS3, Namco Bandai), Pokémon X/Y (3DS, Nintendo) and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (PC/PS3, Square-Enix). TJ's here to bring you the top 3 games of 2013, as voted on by he himself, a flask of coffee, and whatever hamsters he could wrangle up from the depths of the intergalactic space arcade. The list includes an RPG with animation by an Oscar-winning studio, the sixth generation of a beloved franchise and its French vacation, and an MMORPG that got a second chance and made the most of it. The hamsters and humans have delivered their verdict, and are now looking forward to 2014! (Specifically, Bravely Default.) This video review features video gameplay footage of the above games and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
