This is one of my usual drive'n'shoot videos, with a soundtrack from Stanton Warriors' remix of Claude Vonstroke "Who's afraid of detroit?". I am crossing the Chelsea Bridge from South London, and heading into Chelsea/Pilmico. Enjoy the ride and the groove!

Does one *really* need the venerable Technics 1200 anymore? A lot has changed in ten years, and my answer is no. The Stanton t60 and t60x are identical turntables (the former comes with a cart while the other does not). In this video I demo the t60, and also pit it against Stanton's c314 CD deck. See how the two perform in scratching. I am using a Shure M25C cartridge, Shure's entry level cart that goes for about $30.

Welcome to the Veritas Show, WHERE THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE. I am your host, Mel Fabregas, and I sincerely THANK YOU for stopping by. I deemed it important to create the equivalent of a "Veritas Show 101", so that you know exactly what the show is all about. As a matter of fact, if you are new to this site, I highly recommend you listen to the first show or read below. I have a requirement for anyone reading or listening to our show: BE SKEPTICAL BUT DON'T CLOSE YOUR MIND. Also, I hope you listen because YOU DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE, BUT BECAUSE YOU WANT TO KNOW. Stanton T. Friedman received BSc and MSc degrees in physics from the University of Chicago in 1955 and 1956. He was employed for 14 years as a nuclear physicist for such companies as GE, GM, Westinghouse, TRW Systems, Aerojet General Nucleonics, and McDonnell Douglas on such advanced, classified, eventually cancelled, projects as nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets, and nuclear powerplants for space. Aired : Friday, January 23rd, 2009 Stanton Friedman - "Flying Saucers and Science" Despite antipathy from "nasty, noisy negativists," this physicist/lecturer has been seriously investigating UFOs since the Roswell, New Mexico incident of an alleged U.S. government cover-up of extraterrestrial contact. After laying a scientific framework for examining the data and countering arguments against their extraterrestrial source, he makes a case for at least some UFOs being alien spacecraft. The book includes forewords by former astronaut Edgar Mitchell and UFO researcher Bruce Maccabee. *******www.stantonfriedman****
