Satan does the following things to keep those who have not believed in Christ in spiritual darkness. 1. Deny His Existence One of the favorite ways in which Satan operates is to get people to deny that he exists. He seems to be most effective when people do not believe there is such a creature as the Devil. If he can get people to doubt his existence, then he can do much of his work without their knowing. Disguise We find from the Bible that Satan has often approached people in disguise. For example, in the Garden of Eden he came in the form of a serpent to Adam and Eve (Genesis 3). Paul warned the Corinthians that he appears as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). To His Advantage This unbelief in his existence works to Satan's advantage. When people are either uniformed or misinformed about the existence of the Devil, they become like the Sadducees in Jesus' day, who did not believe in angels or spirits. When someone rejects the idea of Satan's existence they are an easy target for him to manipulate. 2. Blinds People To God's Truth The truth of the gospel is what sets people free. Satan attempts to blind people from that truth. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4:3,4). 3. Energizes His Own Ministers Satan gives power to his own ministers. It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works (2 Corinthians 11:15). 4. Controls People's Hearts And Minds Satan has the ability to control hearts and minds. And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve (Luke 22:3). 5. Hinders The Gospel The message of the gospel is hindered by the Devil. He tries to discourage everyone from believing it.

Hustlers is a 2019 American crime drama film written and directed by Lorene Scafaria, based on New York magazine's 2015 article "The Hustlers at Scores" by Jessica Pressler.[4] The film stars Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, and Cardi B. The plot follows a crew of strippers in New York City who begin to steal money by drugging stock traders and CEOs who visit their club. Lopez is also a producer on the film through Nuyorican Productions, alongside Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell, and Adam McKay through their Gloria Sanchez banner. First announced in February 2016, the film was originally supposed to be financed and distributed by Annapurna Pictures. However following the company's financial issues, they dropped the rights in October 2018 and STX Entertainment picked them up. Much of the cast joined that fall through the following spring, and filming took place in New York City from March to May 2019. Hustlers had its world premiere on September 7, 2019, at the Toronto International Film Festival, and was theatrically released in the United States on September 13, 2019, by STXfilms. The film received positive reviews from critics, with considerable praise for Lopez's performance. As of September 15, 2019, Hustlers has grossed $33.2 million in the United States and Canada, and $4.5 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $37.7 million. In the United States and Canada, the film was released alongside The Goldfinch, and was projected to gross $25–30 million from 3,250 theaters in its opening weekend. The film made $13.1 million on its first day, including $2.5 million in Thursday night previews. It was the biggest single day gross in STX Entertainment's history. The film went on to debut to $33.2 million, finishing second behind holdover It Chapter Two; the opening marked the best in both STX's history and Lopez's career. 67% of the opening weekend audience was female, including 69% being over the age of 25.
