Courtesy of *******www.RudyMayer**** - Southern New Hampshire Real Estate - A tradition since 1993, the Nashua Winter Holiday stroll takes place on the Saturday evening following Thanksgiving. This year's them, "Traditions of the Season" was selected to honor the abundant and diverse customs celebrated by the residents of New Hampshire. Much of Nashua's quaint, historic downtown is closed to traffic for the evening, welcoming nearly 30,000 people from all across New England, who participate in the tradition that starts off with a candelit walk from City Hall up to Library Hill, where the city's Christmas tree is lit for the first time. Strollers wander up and down the streets sampling over 50 different artistic and cultural performances including dancing, theatre, music and the carving of the ice sculptures. One can sample offerings from the street vendors, dine in downtown's fine restaurants and do holiday shopping at the many unique boutiques, shops and specialty stores that line the main street and sidestreets of downtown Nashua, many of which remain open late for the festivities. In keeping with the holiday spirit, the Winter Holiday Stroll also features a collection at City Hall where strollers can drop off items such as canned goods, disposable diapers and new, unwrapped toys for local charitable organizations. This event is sponsored by Great American Downtown, a non profit organization that works to provide partnerships and collaborations that unify the entire city of Nashua around a common vision for an attractive, vibrant downtown.

Liver Disease - Stroll for Liver Fund Raising Event at *******www.youtube****/watch?v=xv382y5n5J8&feature=youtu.be 1000 De la Gauchetiere Street West, Montreal, Quebec, H3B 4W5 514-876-4170 What is the main objectives for the Quebec chapter of the Canadian Liver Foundation during 2013? The Canadian Liver Foundation has been championing liver health for Canadians young and old for more than 40 years. We raise and invest funds in liver research to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the over 100 forms of liver disease. Wwe cannot make any progress without the commitment from dedicated researchers and doctors in Quebec and across Canada, to do this, we require funding. We organize many fundraising events such as knock knock comedy night, sushi fundraiser, Lace up for Liver Jamaica and our main event Stroll for Liver. We are committed to educating individuals, families, people of all ages and backgrounds about liver health, nutrition and disease. Last but not least, we are always here to provide support for individuals and families living with liver disease in our community. 2 How will the Stroll for Liver event help the Quebec Chapter reach its goals? The Stroll for Liver is the LARGEST event of the year and we take this opportunity to raise awareness, educate people, and have fun while we are doing it. It`s an event where EVERYONE participates. Its a chance for parents to walk with their children in an effort to bring awareness to pediatric liver diseases. Its a chance for people to get to know about the liver, our foundation, and gain an appreciation for what we do. Its a chance to recognize our current new volunteers and recruit new volunteers. The event is expected to raise a significant portion of our funding for the year, which is extremely important for an agency like us. With funding becoming more and more difficult each year, the money we raise is crucial for researchers! All proceeds benefit the Quebec Chapter's commitment to liver health research, education, and support for families living with liver disease in our community. Our goal is 50 000, we are only at 8%! 3 When and where will the event take place? May 26 at Place des Arts Outline of the day: Walk, Entertainment, Lunch, Prizes, 4 Who can participate in this year's Stroll for Liver event? -Everyone! 5 How does one register for the event?
