BIOGRAPHY: Cope & Kaz is the new project of South Florida keyboard player Chris Cope, who has played for a number of Florida bands. He also appeared on Balcony TV with Artikal Sound System, The Kinected and Spider Cherry, who won Balcony TV's 2017 Video of the Year Award. Cope was classically trained and attended various art schools to hone his craft, has traveled internationally and has performed alongside members of the Marley family and opened up for acts including Steel Pulse, Third World, Jesse Royal, Inner Circle and Platinum-award-winning 90’s rock band Train. Sitting behind a carefully curated trio of keyboards, Cope regularly plays with a variety of bands with different genres in South Florida. He has shared the stage and opened for such names as: Johnny Winter, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Doyle Brandhall ll, Donovan Frankenreiter, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Tinsley Ellis, Tab Benoit, Matt Schofield, Chris Duarte, Mac Arnold and the Plate Full of Blues, Brandon Santini, and many more.  In 2018 JL won two International Music & Entertainment Awards: Blues Artist of The Year & Music Video of The Year (The Way She Makes Me Feel).  JL is currently endorsed by Heritage Guitar Inc., GHS Strings, Mojo Hand FX, and Cusack Music. STUDIO ROAD TV In this episode, A GOOD ROSÉ performs their original song, “TRIP” BIOGRAPHY: A Good Rosé (AGR) is an American alternative rock band out of Deerfield Beach, Florida, that fuses rock with the variety of influences commonly found on the beaches of South Florida. The band was formed in September of 2017 by childhood friends Angel Valenzuela and Victor Alfonso Huipio. In the first few months of 2018, Drummer Debs Rosa and bassist Juan Moreno joined AGR. Their music taps into the polarized emotions of modern day events (Paradise), the classic love ballad (New Vice), and of course a darker perspective on touchy subjects like the afterlife (Awakening). In this episode of Studio Road TV, THE CRAVENS perform “DOG IN THE SUN”. BIOGRAPHY: Three members of The Cravens have a long and twisted history together. Bill and John Storch met Ron DeSaram in 1980. Both were in ‘alternative’ rock bands, and among the very few groups in South Florida playing original New Wave/Alternative music in the early 1980s. In 1982, Ron joined Crossfire Choir while Black Box Approach changed its name to Ata-Tat and moved to the Northeast to achieve relative success. Ron joined Ata-Tat from 1985-1989. Crossfire Choir moved on to become the ‘house band’ at CBGB’s from 1993-1995) with Ron re-joining the band and Hilly Kristal managing the act. Ata-Tat, though never signed to a major label, had a handful of regional hits in New England and toured the region extensively, including multiple shows with Crossfire Choir at CBGB’s throughout the 1980s. The Storch brothers returned to Florida in 1990 and Ron moved back in 2000. Since 2000 the three future Cravens worked together on many recordings under various names, including Hillbilly Heart and The Sewing Circle Sues, which was a Crossfire Choir/Ata-Tat reunion band. The Sewing Circle Sue’s did a much promoted “World Tour” with two dates: One at CBGB’s in NY as part of their closing ceremony and the other at Respectable Street in West Palm Beach. Today’s drummer is Bill Meredith, a writer for the Palm Beach Post and friend of many years. Bass player Dennis Ambrose also played for Crossfire Choir during the 1990s CBGB's heyday. The Cravens officially formed in 2013 and the band are now regulars on the local circuit, fast building a fan base through You Tube, Facebook, ReverbNation and social media.
