Samuel L Jackson, Terrence McNally, Angela Davis (aunt of Passing Strange actress Eisa Davis), Toni Morrison, Rosie O'Donnell, Lauren Bacall and Harry Belafonte have all been spotted at the show. Theaters allocate a handful of their best seats, which the Foundation then sells for double the face value. The difference is a tax deductible donation to the Cancer Research Foundation. The program, which was started by Rodgers and Hammerstein, was closely backed by Bob Hope and Marlene Dietrich in their prime. Go to DamonRunyon**** for more info.
