Dance! Revolution!! ^_^ Lovu! Lovu! CHAM & Perfect BLUE! ********** A good friend of mine introduced me to an anime movie around 2002/2003 called Perfect Blue. Indeed, to this day this anime [and the super-catchy J-Pop song "Ai no Tenshi" or "Love's Angel" bounces about in my head from time to time =)]. The theme of the movie is rather -- interesting. It's about this creepy-stalker who stalks this Japanese Pop new rising star and is killing people around her in what seems to be an creepy obsession. Generally... viewers of this anime are lead to believe it is the sole-doing of this super-creepy dude in a raincoat who looks like a little sunshine wouldn't hurt him. However, by the end... should I spoil it? View it if you're curious! ^_^ This is about mu'h memories circulating the creation of the Ai no Tenshi stepchart, not a review of the anime! Bemanistyle Red, Perfect Blue! ********** This stepchart was created when I had begun to get fairly skilled at creatin' stepcharts. =) To be honest, the number it was, I have plain forgotten, but it was in the higher 80th or 90th stepchart release I had uploaded to Bemanistyle at the time and TRULY enjoyed making! The best part about this stepchart is that it seemed to inspire those who played it to want to go and view the anime [YAY for free promotion right Perfect Blue Production Staff? =3] as well as ask questions about the song [which lead to fun conversations on the internet! =D YAY! ^_^] The stepchart itself was fun, fun, FUN according to those who took the time to download and enjoy the just-under-three-minute Long Play stepchart, but what I did notice is what I thought would be the case -- The Heavy Stepchart tended to get the most recognition. The steps for some reason did indeed just feel "right." The "Lovu! Lovu!" in my mind just SOUNDED like [well "looked like!" I suppose I should say! ^_^] the "Ups" and "Downs" of the emotions -- so I had a "Flying Freeze Arrow" [up arrow] glide then soar into an almost "floating fall" in this fun "Sail" "Hop" "Sail" "Hop" fashion that seemed to get a lot of recognition and some 1,000 downloads or so by the end of a couple of months [not too shabby back in 2002 / 2003 when I was SERIOUSLY involved in the Bemanistyle community ^_^]. The best and most fun part about the releasing of this stepchart was that it seemed to have not only favorable reviews [rated 10 from a scale of one to 10 ] month after month even in the often volatile nature of the "unseen lives" behind each monitor on the inter-web... But the reports of "This stepfile made me smile" and "it feels SO good playing this stepchart!" honestly made ME smile and glad to be a stepchart artist and choreographer for the DDR Sim.=) It even inspired another fellow Bemanistyle member to create their own rendition, which I was VERY glad to see was as well received as my own! =D Both of us had ratings of 10s for as long as this stepchart stayed on Bemanistyle****! =D [Unfortunately, they were reset during a website update]. I certainly hope that all of You even now -- here almost a decade after the release of this stepchart -- will equally enjoy this simfile because a lot of "Lovu! Lovu!" and passion went into its creation and the anime which this song is from is indeed worth checking out so I hope you will! Presenting To YOU! CHAM - From Perfect Blue - Ai no Tenishi! (Love's Angel!) Enjoy! =D Forever In Love With All That Which Exists (That Which Is Seen & Unseen, Known & Unknown), -Tiger M.
