Winner of multiple audience awards internationally, including the 2010 Sundance World Cinema Audience Award, UNDERTOW (Contracorriente) from Peru is the outstanding debut feature film of Javier Fuentes-León. Capturing the hidden beauty of the sweeping Peruvian coastline, this haunting, bittersweet tale of a unique love-triangle examines the quest to define sexual identity, when confronted by dogma and tradition. In a small fishing village on the Northern coast of Peru, where religious traditions run deep, Miguel (Cristian Mercado, Che), a well respected local fisherman and his beautiful bride, Mariela (Tatiana Astengo), are about to welcome their firstborn. But Miguel harbours a secret; he is also in love with Santiago (Manolo Cardona, Beverly Hills Chihuahua), a visiting artist who has been ostracized by the local community because of his homosexuality. Forced to deal with the consequences of his acts, Miguel must come to terms with who he really is, even if by doing so he risks losing everything, including the people he loves the most.

Half-Life 2: Episode One review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Half-Life 2: Episode One from Valve Corporation for Playstation 3 on The Orange Box. Half-Life 2 was one of the greatest games ever released. But the ending was a little underwhelming, leaving everyone craving for more of the story of Gordon Freeman. Well, Valve delivered with an episodic trilogy. The game starts right after the end of Half-Life 2 and shows Gordon and Alyk going into the Citadel but will take you to other locations. The biggest change is the addition of Alyk, who can more than hold her own in a firefight, making for an interesting co-op system. The only trouble with the game is it is over far too quickly, but it was never intended to be a full length game. This is the same quality as Half-Life 2, just shorter and with some changes. This video review features video gameplay footage of Half-Life 2: Episode One for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

Daytona USA review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Daytona USA from Sega AM2 and Sega for Playstation 3. Daytona USA was one of the best racing games in the arcade, on the Sega Saturn and the Sega Dreamcast. Now it has been given an HD update and comes to the PS3 with new features as well. The game is the same as before, with all the same modes and tracks. There are additional modes like Survival mode and karaoke mode, but the biggest addition has to be the online racing where up to eight racers can complete. Daytona USA is still a great arcade racing game and shouldn't be missed. This video review features video gameplay footage of Daytona USA for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

Tokyo Jungle review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Tokyo Jungle from PlayStation C.A.M.P. and Crispy's and SCE Japan Studio and Sony Computer Entertainment for Playstation 3. The streets of Tokyo have become void of all human life and are now controlled by the animals. You play as a variety of different animals, from dogs to cats and even deer and lions. Each gives a different experience but the same basic need exist, and that is the need to survive. You have to hunt, graze, hide and fight in order to become the alpha, control territory, reproduce and move on to the next generation. The gameplay is very interesting and an even more interesting presentation of a post-apocalyptic Tokyo. It is one of the most unique games in a genre that is becoming very crowded. This video review features video gameplay footage of Tokyo Jungle for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

After Burner Climax review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of After Burner Climax from Sega AM2 and Sega for Playstation 3. After Burner returns with a brand new entry in the series. Originally made for arcades and ported to home consoles. The game continues in line with the other games in the series, with fast paced air combat. After Burner Climax updates the gameplay but keeps it mostly intact. The game features unlockable EX Options that change the gameplay, either making it easier or harder. There is also Score Attack mode and a new jet to use. It still feels like an After Burner game, but brings it into the new generation. This video review features video gameplay footage of After Burner Climax for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 from Konami for Playstation 3. The Pro Evolution series make it debut on the current generation of consoles, and brings with it the same tight gameplay and great football. The game makes great use of the upgrade in hardware with great player animations that make the same appear more real. There are plenty of modes, including one where you guide your team from the low ranks of second division to the Champions League. The only thing the game is missing is licensing, with only a few real teams and the rest generic place fillers. But teams or not, the game still features solid football and still holds up to this day. This video review features video gameplay footage of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom from Creat Studios and TikGames for Playstation 3. Mahjong makes its way onto the PS3 and very little has changed. The main meat of the game comes in the story mode, where tales are told between games of Mahjong with storyboard illustrations and narration. There are also other modes, like a never ending mode called Infinity, and also Motion, where you have to use titles before a dragon destroys them. Mix in multiplayer and you have plenty of ways to play Mahjong. Only problem comes with the controls, as the analog stick is just not as comfortable or quick as a mouse. If you want Mahjong on a console, this is a quality way of getting a game you can play for free. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

Canabalt review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Canabalt from Adam Saltsman for Playstation 3. Canabalt is an endless runner, one of those games that has your protagonist running to the right and having to jump and avoid obstacles. The game presents itself with a great style of black and white and very pixelated. The game is challenging as you try to just get a little bit farther than your previous best. However, the biggest problem is that this game costs money while it is a free game on most other devices. This video review features video gameplay footage of Canabalt for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

007 Racing review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of 007 Racing from Eutechnyx and Electronic Arts for Playstation 1. James Bond returns to the world of video games but this time doesn't leave his car. Despite the misleading title, the game is not a racing game but a mission based game, all taking place in one of Bond's famous cars. You will rescue hostages, pick up parts of transmitters, and chase down villains. The biggest problem with the game is the controls, which feel loose and unresponsive. With a game where control means everything, this game is held back by major technical issues. This video review features video gameplay footage of 007 Racing for Playstation 1 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

NBA Jam: On Fire Edition review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of NBA Jam: On Fire Edition from EA Canada and EA Sports for Playstation 3. NBA Jam will always be apart of basketball, with great phrases likes "He's on Fire," and "Boomshakalaka." But now 2010's remake of the classic game gets a dramatic update, with On Fire Edition. Of course the game offers updated rosters, creating the super teams of today and updated graphics and animations. But the game also offers new game modes and features, like the Team Fire power-up. But the biggest addition is the online play, which brings more multiplayer fun to a game. This update is the version of NBA Jam to get, with all the updates and features, it is on fire. This video review features video gameplay footage of NBA Jam: On Fire Edition for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

WarioWare: Twisted! review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Super WarioWare: Twisted! from Nintendo SPD Group No. 1 and Intelligent Systems and Nintendo for Gameboy Advanced. Rejoice, WarioWare has returned and brought with it some incredible new gameplay innovation. The game introduces the gyroscope, which tracks the motion of the Game Boy itself. So the mini-games that WarioWare is known for now get mixed up by incorporating movement. You will literally have to shake, spin and turn to complete the games before your couple seconds are up. Wario Ware: Twisted! has several different collections of games, each with their own WarioWare character and theme that bring it all together. The crazy minigames and new gyroscope work perfectly together to create a game that does not feel gimmicky but instead creates a more engaging experience. This video review features video gameplay footage of WarioWare: Twisted! for GBA and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

Metal Gear Solid Touch review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Metal Gear Solid Touch from Kojima Productions and Konami for iOS. Metal Gear Solid is known for being a great stealth series, with stressful moments sneaking past enemies. With the move to iOS, the stealth was removed and replaced with streamlined shooting. You are under cover, popping up when you place your finger on the screen, and shooting with a tap. The system works well, and starts off easily but with more and more enemies, the game quickly cranks up the difficulty. The more impressive aspect is that the game follows the entire events of MGS4, with all the encounters and boss battles. The story is presented with text and images. This is another way of getting the greatness of MGS4, just in a different and more portable version. This video review features video gameplay footage of Metal Gear Solid Touch for iOS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.
