How does the Healthy Home Solution water filter compare to magnetic water technology? This is an important question. While we don't want to knock the magnets, there are some serious differences in the technology. Magnets make a temporary change in the polarity of the water. The key word there is temporary. When the change is taking place, a magnet will definitely reduce hard water issues. But if you don't use the water in the specific time allotted, it will actually revert back to its original state and you will lose all the benefits. That puts a lot of pressure on the home owner to use the water immediately after it's been through the magnet. And anyone who does magnets properly in a home these days will not just put one in but they will put one on the water main and one on the inlet and one on the outlet of the water heater. Sometimes a magnet will need to be put on dishwasher, on the shower head of each bath and everywhere else the home owner wants to improve his water. The costs become astronomical and the reason is they are trying to keep the polarity consistent. You need a lot of magnets to keep that polarity in place so the consumer can benefit from the magnets at all outlets. On the other hand, our technology makes a permanent change in the calcium carbonate. Once the water has been through our unit the calcium carbonate has lost the majority of its attraction for itself and metal and other types of surfaces. So it loses its ability to bond and it is a permanent state and there are no worries in regards to time frame in which the water must be used. We think it is obvious this is a much easier and cheaper way to eliminate the hard water issues in your home.

Steering a boat seems harder than driving a car, or at least it is so for this cruiser captain, who simply smashes a boat to pieces with his incapable navigation instead of changing ‘lanes’.

On the WORLDbytes Chill out Desk scientist Joe Kaplinsky helps us realise water is not something we should worry about. In 1858 London suffered what was known as the Great Stink, when excrement backed up on the tidal Thames forcing even parliament to consider adjourning upstream. The Victorians developed grand plans to solve the problems yet today our peers in developing countries still suffer pit holes and death from water borne diseases. A new film Flush it available on DVD to mark this 150th anniversary demands grand plans to solve today’s sanitation and water issues. The film is available from the WORLDwrite website.

ATLANTA, (March 19, 2009) - DASANI(R) purified water and Alexandra Cousteau are embarking on a round-the-world expedition to bring much needed attention to our planet's most vital water issues. Expedition: Blue Planet is a groundbreaking effort to engage people around the world in discussions about critical water concerns and how we can help to preserve this indispensable natural resource. Alexandra Cousteau, granddaughter of the world renowned explorer Jacques Cousteau and founder of Blue Legacy, an organization dedicated to water issues and conservation will visit important water sites on five continents. Her journey will chronicle the interconnectivity of water. She will show how local water use has a direct impact on the interdependent, global eco-system. Expedition: Blue Planet will create a new vision for what it means to live in a world where water is recognized as our most precious resource, and suggest a plan for what we must do to protect it. "Water is a vital resource that should be clean, pure and accessible for everyone," said Alexandra Cousteau. "We live on a water planet. Water is the reason for our existence. And yet in spite of water's obvious and central importance to sustaining life on Earth, here we stand at the start of a new millennium with our most precious resource in critical condition across the globe." "DASANI is a leading hydration brand, and as such, we recognize that conservation and stewardship of our precious water resources is a first-order priority," said Penny McIntyre, senior vice president, and general manager, water, tea and coffee, Coca-Cola North America. Our consumers want to engage in discussions around the environment, and we are committed to helping them get involved and take action." NO PROBLEM GIVING..A RECOMMENDATION! My house looks great at a fraction of the price of siding. FJB Associates was great and I have no problem giving you a recommendation and a video testimonial. With a job like this I know I'll be able to take advantage of your friends and family program. Mr. and Mrs. Pregno of Great Torrington, CT PROFESSIONALISM!!! You guys at FJB Associates were great from beginning to end. The professionalism of both the salesman and the installers cannot be put into words. I had an issue with a water issue over two of the windows that were being installed. The installers evaluated the situation and made the necessary corrections at no cost to me even though it was not part of my contract. When I am ready for my next windows there will only be one number that I will dial. Mr. Turn of Montague, MA THOUGHTFUL INSTALLATION!!! We had a great salesman from FJB Associates, very knowledgeable. It was a beautiful and thoughtful installation. The installer marked all of my outlets on the E-Shield so if I had a problem with a fan I would know where to go. Mr. and Mrs. Solek of Southwick, MA ON TIME!!! FJB Associates were on time for their appointment and were out of my house by eleven forty-five. It was a very neat and professional job. All I look forward to now is the drop in my heating bills. Mr. and Mrs. McLaughlin of Clayton, NC TAX CREDIT!!! The installers from FJB Associates were on time, went right to work, and left the house as neat as when they walked in. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. The only thing that I didn't understand was how to get my tax credit? LEFT THE HOUSE...NEAT!!! The installers from FJB Associates were on time, went right to work, and left the house as neat as when they walked in. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. The only thing that I didn't understand was how to get my tax credit? (I took the time to explain to his satisfaction) Mr. and Mrs. Jackson of Springfield, MA WENT VERY WELL WITH FJB ASSOCIATES!! The job went very well with FJB Associates. I thought it was going to be a big job for only one installer but he came in and went right to work. He was done before you knew it. The only thing I'm not sure of is if this product will deliver what it says it will, but only time will tell. Mr. Carriero of Fairfield, CT TAX CREDIT!!! The man from FJB Associates was very nice when he came to put in the E-Shield. He even put a piece in under the sink in the kitchen like I asked. I thought it was an awful lot of money when I bought it but when I am in my house now the furnace doesn't click on hardly ever so I guess with my tax credit and the savings on fuel I didn't do so bad. Mrs. Goulding of Worchester, MA VERY NEAT!! I had a very nice installer from FJB Associates. He was very neat and cleaned up after himself. I can feel that the house warmer already. Mrs. Cobleigh of West Hartford, CT GREAT FROM BEGINNING TO END!!! You guys at FJB Associates were great from beginning to end. When I am ready for my next windows there will only be one number that I will dial. Mr. Turn of Montague, MA MADE SURE TO MAKE EVERYTHING RIGHT!!! The process was smooth and the only reason I have to give you an 8 was that they had to come back several times because of issues with the door but I would still consider using FJB Associates again because you didn't turn away as soon as you got paid, you made sure to make everything right.
