During 2004 to 2007 more than 1,20,000 women themselves were arrested without any investigation or evidences under IPC Sec.498A(just one among the so-called 'women-protection' laws!). These are the same women-protection laws which imprisons women themselves apart from senior citizens(5000 arrested in 2006 alone), Minor Children(300 arrested in 2006) and more than 4.13 lakhs men were arrested - YES, without ANY EVIDENCE or INVESTIGATION...
