Eli is an adopted twelve-year-old who sets out one day to collect scrap metal from the local junkyard, but instead discovers a buried frozen chamber nearby filled with armored bodies that could not possibly be of this world. As one of the alien forms begins moving, Eli quickly grabs what looks to be its weapon and rushes home to his dad Hal, where he finds his older brother Jimmy who has just returned from a six-year stint in prison. But after vicious local crime lord Taylor Bolek appears with thugs to collect on the $50,000 in protection money Jimmy owes, the two boys barely escape with their lives after Taylor kills their father in a violent confrontation. The two brothers are forced to go on the run, chased now by both the revenge-seeking Taylor, whose own brother was killed in the shootout, and the FBI, with expert agents Morgan Fields and Jake Stanton following the boys' trail. And aided by beautiful stripper Milly who they encounter on their road trip, the protective older brother Jimmy does everything he can now to find a way to keep alive and help start a new life for Eli. But with forces on all sides quickly closing in on them, including the cadre of otherworldly alien soldiers who are soon able to track them down by the gun Eli has imprinted himself on, these young fugitives find that this incredibly powerful weapon Eli keeps just might be their only protection in their increasingly desperate attempt to stay alive.

Steep is an extreme sports video game developed by Ubisoft Annecy and published by Ubisoft. It was released worldwide on 2 December 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A version for the Nintendo Switch was originally in development prior to the console's launch, but it was confirmed that development ceased for the platform in August 2018. The game places a great emphasis on online multiplayer, focusing on competing in various winter sporting challenges with other players online. Steep is an extreme sports game set in an open world environment of the Alps and Denali (formerly known as Mount McKinley), which can be explored freely by the players.[1] The game can be played from either a first-person or third-person perspective, which can be switched instantly at players' will. The game also utilizes the GoProcamera during races.[2] The four main activities available in the game include skiing, wingsuit flying, snowboarding and paragliding. Players can switch between these activities by using the game's menu wheel. On 12 January 2017, a version of the game for Nintendo Switch was announced.[23] In June, at E3 2017, Ubisoft announced that a Winter Olympics expansion, Steep: Road to the Olympics, would be released on 5 December 2017.[24] The Switch version is still without a release date, though Ubisoft reaffirmed the game's release on the platform in October 2017, while conceding that the company's priority for 2017 was to finish and release the Road to the Olympics expansion on other platforms first.[25] Despite reaffirmation, on August 9, 2018, the official Steep Twitter announced that development ceased on the Nintendo Switch port of the game to focus on bringing new content to the other platforms.

A deadly new threat enters Ghost Recon Wildlands this week, armed with powerful weapons, advanced stealth abilities, and more mandibles than seem strictly necessary. From December 14 through early January, the Predator will bring its unique skills to a special challenge that sees players (solo or with up to four players in co-op) hunting the creature—and being hunted in return. Defeating the Predator will be no easy task, but if players manage to take it down, they will be rewarded with exclusive items, including the Predator mask, which features Predator vision. To help you fully embrace your inner hunter, the Predator Pack (available in the in-game store) introduces 15 new customization items inspired by the original movie, including weapons and a new close combat move.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is a first-person shooter developed by Gearbox Software and based on the Alien science fiction film series. It was published by Sega for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2013. A sequel to James Cameron's 1986 film Aliens, the game follows a group of Colonial Marines, a fictional military unit, as they confront the Weyland-Yutani corporation in an effort to rescue survivors from the Sulaco spaceship. The game features a campaign mode that supports both single-player and cooperative gameplay, and a multiplayer mode in which players compete in different scenarios. Colonial Marines was developed over six years and suffered from a tumultuous development. Because Gearbox decided to focus on other projects like Duke Nukem Forever and Borderlands 2, they outsourced a significant part of the game to other studios. The game was heavily inspired by Cameron's film. Concept artist Syd Mead, who collaborated with Cameron to design the Sulaco, was hired to design locations. Four downloadable content packs were released, adding multiplayer maps, a new cooperative mode, and a new campaign mode that takes place before the campaign of the base game. Colonial Marines sold more than one million copies, but received negative reviews due to its technical problems, low-quality graphics, and the weak enemy artificial intelligence; the competitive multiplayer mode was highlighted as its strongest aspect. Colonial Marines drew controversy because it featured a lower graphical quality than that of press demos. In April 2013, two players filed a lawsuit, claiming that Gearbox and Sega had falsely advertised the game, but it lost class-action status in 2015.
