I love perfecting my coffee and after years of using a French Press, I have switched to making it in the Chemex. It’s quicker and I get an amazing cup of coffee every time. My family and I have become a little obsessed with finding the best cup of coffee. Here’s what I have found to be the best. The first thing that you want to do is boil the water to 200. Then put 22 grams of coarsely ground beans in the filter. (If you are using paper get it wet first to get rid of the paper taste) Pour the water into the filter using a gooseneck kettle. This allows it to flow over the beans evenly. Now measure out 370 grams of water. If you’d like to learn more about How to Brew The Best Cup of Coffee you can read more in the book that I wrote. How to Roast The Best Coffee from seed to first sip. All of the things listed on this video can be found at KarisCoffeeandTea****. I have attached a link in the comments box below for the for the chemex and gooseneck kettle.
