ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or commonly known as ADHD which comprises of symptoms such as being inattentive, hyperactive, or impulsive for more than a period of six months. This condition normally starts during childhood and continues even into later years. There are no standard procedures or tests to determine whether or not your child has ADHD. Instead, parents need to look for some of the commonly associated symptoms such as the child blurting out answers, forgetting to take his/her lunch, or daydreaming for most of the time. Therefore, it is important to be attentive and consult a doctor immediately if your child is having any of the symptoms more than the recommended time frame.
