Just Dance 2020 is an upcoming dance rhythm game developed by Ubisoft. It was unveiled on June 10, 2019, during its E3 press conference, and will be released on November 5, 2019 for Nintendo Switch, Wii, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. It is the first game in the series to be released on Google Stadia.
Ubisoft's announcement of the Wii version was met with surprise and ridicule from gamers who were left wondering about Ubisoft supporting a platform that has been discontinued since 2013; a Twitter user going by the handle alienaishas speculated that this was due to the Wii's very large install base, claiming that organizations such as hospitals use Just Dance as part of their patient rehabilitation programs. As with the previous installments of the franchise, players must mimic the on-screen dancer's choreography to a chosen song using either motion controllers or the game's associated smartphone app (which, however, is incompatible with versions of the game on Nintendo consoles, in favor of exclusively supporting Joy-Con or Wii Remote).
