DIFFERENT GENRE IN FICTION WRITING Back in ancient Greece, literature was divided into two main categories: tragedy and comedy. Nowadays, the list of literature genres seems endless. Mainly, the literature is divided into two genres’: fiction and non-fiction. Other genres are just sub-categories of this genre. The most popular genres of fiction writing are: - DRAMA: the text which is performed rather than reading can be considered as a drama. The drama itself has divisions like comedy, tragedy, etc. POETRY: it is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and phonetic language to express words. FANTASY: the stories that contain unrealistic views such as magical powers, etc. HUMOR: the writer tends to amuse the reader with comic elements. FABLE: a story intended to provide a moral lesson at the end. SCIENCE FICTION: stories telling us about the future and imaginary accounts of scientific things.
